Assume Towns, OK4 and Russell are off the board. You are on the clock...
Emmanuel Mudiay
Justise Winslow
Willie Trill Stein
Kristaps Porzingis
Mario Hezonja
Frank Kaminsky
Trade Down (do not pick any of the above with the fourth pick)

Winslow or Mudiay. I still think there is a small chance Russell or Okafor may drop although its slim

Its gonna depend on what the Lakers do. Whether Towns likes it or not the TWolves are gonna pick him so thats off.

I'm fine with adding WCS, I just don't want him with the 4th pick.

Mudiay, the best shot at a triple threat player.

If there is a chance to trade down and get WCS an Payne it will be amazing, but i think WCS will go not beyond #6

Can't vote until I see some recent video of Winslow working out, as well as Porzingis, who should be doing a workout in a couple of days.

I'm assuming that Towns and Russell won't be available, but OK4 might be, and Mudiay will be.

I would be choosing from Winslow, Porzingis, and Kaminsky.

I'm confounded that you put so much stock in workouts or workout videos...

I vote trade down unless Okafor or Russell are there. Then I may trade Russell IF a team was willing to give me a pick flip and 3#1's

I said it near 3 months ago--the Knicks want Willie Stein. I think theyve been pre mature in their thoughts the--I thought Jackson kind of laid mention that he was going to be looking at our draft pick kind of exuberantly only to watch Stein play 2 really bad games where he had little impact.

I like what Flip Saunders recently said--we dont make the pick until the 26th we need to keep an open mind to get our absolute best value. I agree here we need to keep an open mind--you dont have closed thoughts 3 months before the draft.

to me personally to what I have seen the ONLY thing that should be a lock is Towns #1. And I will add although this process has been a little down for kNick fans losing a high pick--the end game will be very exciting--almost like a TV drama--can anyone remember a draft intrigue like this?

RIP Crushalot😞

If I had to make a pick Id take Frank Kaminsky. Hes going to be the steal of the draft up top.

Actually, of the 3 guys I am leaning toward, two were in the finals of the NCAAs, and the other has done well against good Euro competition. All three have been successful, and done things in actual games- not just in workouts.

I need to see certain things.

From Winslow I need to see him shoot off the dribble and also know that he can catch and shoot accurately when under pressure. I would love to see him do the drill that OK4 did with LA- the one where most guys on UK completely misunderstood what they were seeing. Winslow was something like 2/19 shooting off the dribble. Is that what you want from your SG/SF?

Want to see if Porzingis has worked on an inside game, and see his movement on D. He's a freak, and comes from a basketball family. Barring injury he could be the best player from this draft 5 years down the road. One hesitations is his passing ability.

I'd also like to look at Kaminsky's footwork on D. He has the most well rounded and versatile game of any big man in this draft, and has shown actual improvement during his college career.

OK4 and Mudiay did not look great in those LA practices

So what exactly do you look at when you are evaluating a player? I want a well rounded player who can play on both ends of the court- you don't take one dimensional players at #4 and imagine what they will do at some point- I want guys who have already shown something and have the right fundamentals.

We should have been deciding between Russell and Towns, but that didn't happen- so I want a guy who has shown he can do a little of everything.

At this point, I lean toward Kaminsky, and I might even do that if OK4 is available.

Added- Both Winslow and Porzingis are in play for me if there is some way to see what they look like now, especially Winslow.

Phil and his staff are looking at all the prospects they like and so they'll have a good idea of what all of them bring. I think WCS is the right guy because out of all the other available guys with the exception of Towns, he's the most impactful Defender. Towns has the better offensive potential, but WCS looks like he can be just fine offensively as he continues to develop. The big thing with WCS is his defense is what this team needs. He'll help everyone look better on D. We can't underestimate how important it's going to be to have a great defense.

WCS
Winslow

I'll still give Mudiay a slight edge over Winslow. But Winslow clearly is a better fit and is a safer pick, plus he's the type of player that is trending right now, with every great team having that 2-way elite wing athlete (Jimmy Butler, Dray Green, Carroll, Iguodala etc). But Mudiay has superstar potential. They are 1A and 1B right now.

I like Winslow given the intangibles he showed in the NCAA..He is a very good defender that can guard multiple positions..His shot need to be worked on..But shooting 42% at this stage in his career is a positive sign...I like athletic types who has the basic skills with upside to work on their shots..Derrick Rose shot 34% from the three in college...John Wall shot 33% from the three in college..Jimmy Butler shot 35% from the three in college..Damian Lillard shot 41% from three in college..

Take the best player without thinking of position.

I would go with size. Krisnaps might be a good choice at 4 if still there.

I think you rank your players as they fall.

So if Towns, Oka4, Russell Kristnaps is the ranking then you go with whose left.

Timberwolves- They take Towns, if they don't they're idiots.

L.A.- They take Russell, to good to pass up. Future star that replaces Kobe.

Philly- They take Okafor, trade him for future 1st and Payne. Would not be surprised if Phil swaps the 4 for the 3 and gives up 2018 pick for him. He might ask for another first and a couple of 2nd rounders.

N.Y.- They take Mudiay, it comes down to BPA plus he fills a need. I like Winslow here also.

As of 6/10, who do you take # 4?
