Wow this made a NBA article May 27
Jared Dudley?... We all know about Carmelo but why Dudley? The Mr Dudley talks on Kobe no one wants to play
With Kobe

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/early-lead/wp/2015/05/27/jared-dudley-calls-carmelo-anthony-nbas-most-overrated-says-most-guys-dont-want-to-play-with-kobe-bryant/

Think Dudley can only play for Bucks where no one cares about such remarks
Nor about Jared Dudley whom done nothing in NBA himself as a NBA player with a job $$$

Not defending Carmelo nor Kobe, Bryant has 5 NBA ring championships and
Carmelo has none but 1 college championship and may never ever win NBA title.

Easy to say that chances percentages of either Kobe or Melo, winning a NBA title forthcoming
Is slim and none same as lame Jared Dudley.

Do Not see remarks today hurting Kobe/old and Carmelo but has higher chances hurting Dudley
A fool whom maybe Milwaukee be as best as it gets. Makes best of it Jared cause his stars
Of play isn't good enough to be difference maker yet.

Until you accomplish something on your NBA full-time job what is his point???
Of picking on fraternity of NBA guys Mr.Dudley can't even touch yet either.
Pointlessness points tell us Jared something we all don't know yet about Kobe Bryant n Carmelo A.

Concluding when you come to work and make pot shots you need to look at your own impact
Your own job before you may not even have a NBA Job since players coming in NBA are far far
Better than Jared Dudley.

I agree with Dudley. Carmelo does have a lot to prove; if he isn't overrated, it will show
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

Jared Dudley i s great at stating the obvious. Like that time he tweeted that Lebron is coming to the Knicks.

Dude ****ted on everyone, lol...I don't think Ive ever heard an active sports player talk so candidly about his peers. Dudley seems to be trying to set things up for life after basketball.

As far as what he said about Melo, I don't think there is anything wrong with it. Its what we all have been saying here.

I do think its unfair to compare Melo to Lebron. Lebron is one of kind and no current NBA player can do what he does on the basketball court.

I also don't believe that Lebron would have been able to carry this Knicks team (with Iman and JR) to the playoffs. A lot of variables that the great Dudley is not taking into account. For example, the fact that the Knicks have had absolutely no support from the 4 and 5 positions. The night life that kept distraction JR Smith and Iman Shumpert booming rap career.

We all know what Dudley says already for past few yrs based on lack of success
Of Kobe and Carmelo recently

Which authority is Dudley on it? Is he their best friends or worst?

I dont call Jared having guts for telling us NOTHING ..cause he seems to be more
Prophet than a useful NBA player whom is hurt injured 1/2 his NBA career.

Where is it you keep your pro mouth shut until you actually done something for the Suns, LAL,
CLIPs, now BUCKS Which your employed to play and produce instead of being halve your NBA tenure on IL.

DJ always thought when you learning your craft and developing your work trade one suppose to keep their pro
A_ss a
Quiet until you give media something something to talk big time about your pro team or craft success.

Milwaukee Bucks were not decent, good and improved this year NOT! Because of Jared Dudley
Whom obviously thinks he is NBA voice of the many.

Now I know Jared is better critical than actual NBA basketball player.
Sorry DJ taking pot shot at Mr. Dudley cause he makes lots of $$$$ on his job without having to do
A darn thing with pro NBA basketball play.
??

Pinch me.. I must be missing something or Dudley thinks he is on his way to be next Paul Pierce or K.Leonard of Spurs.

I agree with his criticism, but how is Melo overrated? He's usually outside the top 10 and lower than Kevin Love in media player rankings. Kevin Love is always ranked higher but why are defense and making others better not important with him?

I suppose some folks just don't like Carmelo's "brand."

I actually think there are certain fans in Minnesota and Cleveland who see Love as being overrated... we just don't hear or read them.

Jared Dudley, the most underrated NBA analyst on the planet.

I'm so glad a brilliant son like Jared has the guts and presence of mind to say what everyone, every single person on the planet already knows about Carmelo. Especially our idiot president, who gave mr. overrated $124 MM.

Jared Dudley, you see, has dragged several franchises to the playoffs on his back.

So because Dudley isn't more than a role player he cannot state an opinion? If that's the criteria then every sportswriter and so called expert out there should put away their pens and pads and go home since they haven't accomplished anything even remotely close to Dudley when it comes to basketball.

So whats the criteria for voicing an opinion on the NBA? Won a ring? Made an all first team NBA? Maybe only players with PER's over 20?

The fact that it is controversial that Jared Dudley has an "opinion" is pretty silly and the fact that we are talking about it is pretty silly.

Jared is not making a franchise crippling $20+M per year, and no one expects him to lead his team to the playoffs.

That's the worst- when people desperately back peddle from a contentious opinion, he's now not only an ******* for bringing it up, but also either a liar or a coward for then taking it back

franchise crippling would have been the Knicks letting Melo go for nothing. Even with trade clause, you get a lot for him if he wants to go.

People make mistakes. I'm sure if you were constantly being interviewed, you'd say something you regret too. Whether Dudley's right or not, it's poor taste to make that kind of comment about a co-worker. He shouldn't have said it and once it slipped out apologizing was correct.
