Look at our record.
Maybe it was Isiah? Lenny? Chaney? Larry? Herb? Isiah? MDA? Donnie? Woodson? Grunny? Phil? Fish? All good talents but when they came here what happend?
Living in the past prevents one from moving ahead. Living in the future creates axiety.
And those who don't learn from the past keep making the same mistakes. Problem was never the players.
Agree......
That is what you get when you have no continuity in an organization. Every two years we have a new coach, a new GM,a new roster, etc
WHich is why Dolan hired an outside consultant and changed the organization. The rebuild is the symptom of good decisions made after years of bad ones.
Dolan set the directive for the franchise for years.
Phil's job is to create a culture and Dolans job is to not infect it.
As a Knicks fan, I hope and pray that this experiment is a success. I am so sick and tired of the old way of doing business
You have an outspoken President who says all kinds of weird sheehit. Whenever he feels like it, wherever he feels like it. Where's the MSG Media gulag? Where are the drive-through only interviews? Where is Phil hiding in a hotel closet?
We have a rookie coach who's not dealing with anything but 3rd tier talent and minimal starphucques. Well, he did get divorced. But he hasn't run screaming from the building, (yeah, I know, $25 million can have that affect on a person), but he's not resorted to spilling pepsi and having hissy fits on his more well-heeled assistant coaches.
We have no lame ducks, and our numbfucque owner has resorted to talking third person through Mike Fatincessant as his only form of public interference.
No lame ducks.
Yoots, hardhat working stiff types, an actual rebuild in place and the first quality draft pick since 1985. Culture change has already started.
