I'm actually a skeptical cynic by nature, and have disagreed with your optimism numerous times, but I have to agree with you here.
I have no issue with Fisher talking this way as coach of the team, and actually expect him to say these things in public.
Will he sound like this when he talking with Jackson at the end of the season without reporters waiting for a nice sound bite... of course not.
Do any of you guys really expect him to come across differently when speaking to reporters?! I don't take what he is saying seriously, but this is pretty common stuff for coaches to say.
