Noah, even while at college, was an phenomenal passer, could put the ball on the floor and ran pick and roll and high post. He was a key cog to the Florida offense even if he wasn't a main scorer. WCS shows none of those traits right now.

I agree with all points you mentioned

I should have been more specific...its WCS defensive ability and hustle that reminds me of Noah. I think the offense will come (at least to the level of Noah which, imo, isn't very high).

I have thought of Noah too - not that there is any similarity to their games, but perhaps there are untangibles that on the face of it, you think, they are not an impact player.

Again, thinking back to Noah's draft - I don't recall if anyone really thought he would have the impact he's had - certainly with 2020 I might make him a top 3 pick that year, maybe even 1.

Again, not commenting on whether WCS is in this conversation.

I tend to think Briggs is overreacting, and if Phil was referring to WCS, then maybe it was smoke vs. anything else.

Just before making his statements about a defensive Big, Phil actually said that they wanted a player with "Multiple Skills". It defies logic to think Phil would be talking about WCS. He's looking for a franchise impacting talent. That very clearly fits Towns more than WCS. KAT is still a baby and already shows great promise. You can see the vast talent KAT has on both ends and his overall BB IQ is high as well. If you've ever heard KAT talk you can tell he's a very intelligent young man.

While there have been some moves that have seemingly worked out(or should I say have chances to work out) my confidence with some things I see stays at a very reasonable level. I think Phil is very specific with his words and he comes across as telling. If you look through the passage you can find the answer. If his answer has to be taken at face value than he has WCS very high on his list and Okafor off his list completely. When Phil Jackson calls Okafor Olkwandi---I think he means it. He's a highly intelligent person and he is an absolutely rookie at what he is doing. For him to give a show card---from my perspective--its not surprising. Time will tell
