thank god.. I mean he's still a 2nd rounder he looked very good on both ends. Hit a big shot, made some good defensive plays, had a + stat line, moved the ball... fingers crossed

He has -0.3 win shares on the season!
We'd be better off playing 4 on 5!

Wish I could have seen that, good news. Have to find some clips. Would be great if Early and Galloway pan out next season, helps speed up the timetable to contending. Less work for the front office to do, and they have a lot on their plate next season.

he played very well, and has been better. I generally DVR the games and check the box scores etc to see if I want to tune in. I watched Shved this way. Same last night... I caught most of the 4th where Early played very well in that comeback, and he drilled a 3 to tie the game with about 90 secs left. He looked good against a team fighting to get into the playoffs. This was a must win for the Nets so it was a nice measure during crunch time.

Fisher mentioned in the post game that "Cle" hasnt been healthy all year, but practices very hard and works very hard and it was good to see him playing better.

He always had the talent of an NBA player, he finally grew a pair to play the game the right way.

Fish...I agree. He's playing like I thought he should be. And you can't look at yearly stats on a young player who's still growing and learning this system, while recovering from surgery.

Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland. The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!

His best game as a pro for sure.. but like every player on this current roster, they have all had 2 or 3 good games. They are just sooooooooo inconsistent. The worse thing somebody can be is inconsistent, you just don't know what to expect and they become completely unreliable.

Think about anybody in your life that's inconsistent, how often you would prefer to deal with them?

You have more recent stats to discuss then? Fish didn't really give us anything to work with.

That's good to know. I watched Early in a few nationally televised games at the beginning of the season (before the Knicks were purged from the TV schedule) and he looked like a spectator most of the time. I don't know if Melo will play the 3 or the 4 next season, but it would be great to have a quality SF on the roster, in addition to Melo.

Early had a very good second half..He needs to continue driving the ball and playing defense..He had a couple of blocks if I remember correctly..As well as Early played in the second half, Ledo was key in the first half..Ledo played great in the first half..

Our coach still hasn't figured out who is playing well yet and letting him back in games..Bargs had a nice first half but had some defensive mishaps..He didn't play the fourth quarter until sec left to try and tie it..Ledo had a great first half but didn't get into the game until late third quarter..So the coach still finding his way..

Early, Ledo and Bargs were key..Acy has been hitting his open shots and hitting threes..

I have to laugh as some of the crass and impatient posters on this forum when it comes to our own young prospects. Can we give them more than one or two seasons to actually develop? Thank God none of these guys are talent evaluators cuz you can't develop players if you lack patience. These young players aren't really costing the team much and they aren't high picks to begin with so you know they will need some time to develop.

We've seen some very good signs from Early. He's looking more and more like the kid with talent and aggressiveness that we saw in college. Last night there was no hesitancy and he looked quick and athletic, which he always was but we forget he actually had surgery and injuries that set him back a couple of times. It was good to see him playing loose and aggressive. You know the Spurs spend multiple years developing guys. They don't always give up on players they believe in. That's why they seem to always have solid players coming in for them.

One of the first post game conferences I actually listened too Fisher addressed this. He simply said he stuck with the guys that got them on the run which is why he went with Larkin/Gallo and sat Ricky, and stuck with Jason Smith over Bargs.

His shot looks pretty good and he does a lot of nice things when he's involved. The one thing that jumps out at me for improvment is his handle and thats one of the easier things to work on.

They were down big in the first half and Ledo led them back..So reporters must have asked him why Ledo didn't get back in the game in the third..Ledo should have started the third..No biggie..

To piggy back on HOLFRESH, Fisher really has to learn how to set up a line up. I can understand going with the line up that made the run (only watched the last 5 minutes) but he failed to put in any rebounders or bigs in general ( to box out lopez). I really wish we would have won that game, it would have build more confidence in the coaching staff and players.

We actually do have some young prospects on this team! Not to mention Thanasis coming next season. For a change its nice to be talking about a bunch of young guys developing for the team. It's not true that we have nothing on the roster as the Media and some fans love to say. You have to also keep some perspective when dealing with young and still developing players. They may not be highly productive right now and they may be inconsistent, but you have to be able to project what they will be down the line. As i've said this is what the Spurs do so well. We should be happy that the Knicks are trying to do the same thing.

I like what he did on the court last night; but if he comes back his second season and struggle like THJ, some here will want him out of town pronto. That goes for any young player we decide to draft (Okafor, towns, Russell, Mud-Yae:), etc). This town is simply not a place for young players to thrive; because, fans around here are not patient enough to watch them develop.

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)
