There is video as well. You can see his size and strength for his age is impressive.

Can't see the video on my phone for some reason but I hear he's been playing great. This is a hell of a year to tank. If towns & ok4 are off the board and we took Mudiay with Shved I would be pretty damn happy. He has the tools to be not good but great

i am really liking shved, but let's not go TOO crazy. to assume he's now a starter might be jumping the gun a bit. he's shown he can definitely playy though.

If you could put Shved and Mudiay in the back court look out. Mudiay is the real deal the speed with his size makes him my number two overall pick. I like Towns but to me he is a 3-4 year project center. Russell is nice player but lacks athleticism and more a half court player he isn't a fast break player.

this kid could be legit... I have no idea. I need to see some live game action before I start saying things like "draft Bargnani" or "draft Jan Vesely"

Ever since Linsanity I'm suspect of a guy coming in & lighting it up for a short period.

I think Schved will be okay. Nothing special though.

It's gonna be tough if Towns is on the board with Mudiay when we pick.

To be fair Shved played a lot for T-Wolves I believe he was a rising star. There is a difference between Lin and Shved. Shved was buried on the rockets bench didn't get run so it seems he isn't good player if you don't get PT. Lin basically came out of nowhere he didn't get major run in His previous destinations before the Knicks.

He didn't play a lot for the T wolves - He did play well when he started for Rubio, but that was 16 games. His overall numbers weren't that good if you take those 16 games out.
He averaged 20 minutes & shot 30% & 29 % from three. That was his 1st year there. The next year he got 10 minutes a game & was of no consequence.

I hope he turns out okay, Time will tell but I'm not going to declare him anything more than ordinary for the time being.

Couldn't disagree more with this statement...With his passing ability and the way he sees the floor, he'd be ideal to lead the fast break similar to Magic...He'd be a tremendous open court player....

I like Mudiay also....He's similar to John Wall and T.Evans

But just like Wall, his jumper is streaky. If he improves in that area (59% free throws)....he will be a beast. Just look how K.Irving is killing the NBA, and he's only 22.....

That is still more run than Lin got.

I'll tell you what, it's kind of fun being in the lottery playoffs.

It's a total bizzaro situation, we're playing for something but in reverse.

I'd much rather be here than 1 round & out, pick 17th every year.
Just give me some players worth watching. The league seems to be full of them but we never seem to get them.

I wasn't comparing Schved to Lin, never said that.

I just said Lin's Cinderella run made me suspect of short bursts of good play.
Then I pointed out that schved hasn't really done much other than a short burst himself & you have to admit, it was a short burst in Minnesota & the next year he did nothing at all...continuing to this point right now.
Maybe he'll maintain a consistent level of play.
I see it to believe it. He's got the opportunity now, that's for sure.

I haven't seen him lead a full on fast break coast to coast. Nothing running full speed he is a damn good shooter I give him that he has nice vision but there is nothing that screams speed and explosion in his game.

Shved isn't doing anything that he hasn't shown he could do in flashes. I think he's just in a perfect situation where he's not being held back and is allowed to use his full skill set with a clear role. Shved has a lot of experience playing in Russia and I think he's hungry for a prominent role. You either have high BB IQ and can pass on a high level or you can't. You can either get to the basket effectively or you can't. You can go get rebounds and push the ball or you can't. The only think Shved needed to improve on was his shooting and playing more under control and he's doing that.

There's nothing wrong with having a Mudiay and Shved if it came to that, but I think it would be better to put a legit 3 and D SG next to Shved.

That's a bricklayer of a backcourt- neither of them can shoot. All teams would have to do would be pack the paint. Would you prefer Russell and Schved? Do they complement each other (haven't watched enough of Russell)

I think Russell's transistion game is too slow for the NBA.....Eventually, any team that drafts him, will have to pair him with a fast PG. Then Russell will have the issue of guarding SG. Russell is a tweener right now....It's up to him to decide if he wants to improve his quickness and be a PG or increase his strength to guard SG.

This is why Mudiay has always been ahead of Russell....Because he has the NBA body to guard SG's and quickness to guard PG. Russell is a shifty player that needs the right system to shine. In the right system, he could be a beast....But what system is that?

I like Russells half court game.....But I like Mudiays transistion game. Both players have their pros and cons. Russell has been inconsistant lately, but we'll see what he does in the tourney!

You're right- I look on him as new version of Magic Johnson.
