So I may not be reading the same thing as the next person is reading. Before you know it, you got turnovers, missed shots and bad transition defense."

"You could look at it as a chance to play in New York, one of the best cities in the world, and get a chance to play for the guys who’ve won more rings than anyone in the business. It’s a matter if the situation fits your game. If you’re a freelance player who likes to play up and down, it’s not going to suit your game. If you like to play in the halfcourt and move the ball and sacrifice, it is your situation."

Worked pretty well for JORDAN & Kobe.

I'm guessing one of the reasons there isn't much running is so that they conserve their energy and every movement they make has a purpose

At least thats the idea

It doesn't have to be Jordan. I think players at the David Robinson and Tim Duncan level would be good enough.

funny

Jr smith and Shumpert both gave up 2 years in a row on us....2 different regimes. They were 2 of our best players we needed to buy in for us to be successful. They went from big keys to our 54 win teams success to cancers. They can go to hell as far as I'm concerned.

I agree that they were cancers and the team needed to move on. Both would have and should have been moved last year but the Knicks didn't have a gm that supported the coach.

Which came first??..I think they knew Woodson was done in December..The two juveniles on the roster then acted out knowing he was a lame duck...Could be both too..

I don't know. I think they knew Woodson was done when Grunwald was let go and then Woodson was forced to keep Chris over a much needed big. Quite a fiasco last year. Glad they are gone.

Or did Dolan overrule Grunwald on roster decisions, as he did Walsh with Denver negotiations, losing Mozgov in the process?

I think Chris was a package deal with JR. I would like to think that Grunwald would not be comfortable doing something like this and that Dolan was involved but I don't know for sure.
