When you go into the season proclaiming that you want to protect the paint while giving up the three ball to the opposing team, you really can't blame the players for not making a concerted effort to challenge the perimeter shooters
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

I don't know if I can ever be patient with this coaching staff. I am hoping Fisher will offer his resignation

I can't wait to hear his excuses after the game is over. They just interviewed one of the Knicks coaches; it doesn't appear to know how to fix the perimeter issues. He reiterated what Fisher has preached from the interim. They are all hoping that teams will start missing the 3 balls.

I guaranty he will blame our poor defense on tired legs.

I can't believe phill found it OK to offer this dude a 5 Year contract

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

And u r not? This team is THE worst in Knicks history; and you are willing to give this freaking coaching staff a pass while destroying the players?

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

You can't blame Fisher without blaming Phil Jackson. We would even have more cap space is we kepts Felton and Chandler. And probably a better record.

I agree. Phil should have never hired that dude to begin with. And the Calderon trade is awful

There is nothing more bizarre than typing right now that we would probably be no worse or even better with Felton than Calderon. Certainly with Tyson.

That's OK though.

With Tyson, this team might have generated some wins. And that would have been a disaster of its own. The only good now is losing big.

The real issue is Calderon's chitty contract runs two years after this. That's where the pain lies now.

Calderon can still be traded....make up for the mistake. I am sure somebody around the league would love to have him as a backup PG

An 8 mil backup? Gonna have to do what Dallas did and attach some picks.

If someone give larkin more than 1.7 next year they will cheddar bob themselves and I am starting to like Larkin.

You wont find min salary player as good as Larkin. he's young quick and competes. Phil shot himself in the face.

well we don't have a single strong defender in the paint. that could be why fisher decided to shore up the team defense there and give away threes. at the same time our perimeter defenders are even worse, they're going to be getting beat regardless.

jason smith and cole aldrich are our starting bigs.

Mistakes are always made on a journey that offers no map.
There are to be expectation of unexpected disappointment and expectation of unexpected reward.
To end the journey and start a new might not yield the desired result. It may only satisfy the thirst bought on by disappointment.
A new coach would run the same system?

Does the first season of cultural change ruin the polish of 11 championships that is the legacy of Phil?
IS the tank intentional or not? Does it really matter?

Fans need to change attention from wining (not happening any time soon) to team building and players development.
This may need another fans... is UK crew capable of this switch?

Winning? I don't mind losing as a fan, it is just nauseating to watch the product (coaches and players) we put on the court nightly. Even the announcers/cheerleaders are getting on my nerves these days::)
