He's so versatile although we have $28mil on the books

2yrs from now we'll take that chance

I truly just fell in love with SVG

Shaq once referred to him as Master of Panic

This move was no sign of Panic but Catch a Body so Proper Like

Not sure why they didn't just trade him to the Kings.

How long does Smith remain on Detroit's cap? Will they still have enough flexibility to sign Monroe?

Jr. has an opt in for next year. Bascially we can waive him and he's on the books for the duration.
Was Smith an expiring?

If so, the waive process is teams bid on what they will pay. Detroit can get some relief.
MOst likey he clears, then Detroit picks up the salary, and he can play for any team for the minimum.
Its a nice thing they did.

For salary cap purposes his contract doesn't change, he'll be on their cap for two more seasons after this one. They don't necessarily need flexibility to resign Monroe, Detroit has his Bird rights and can go over the cap to sign him.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

Thanks. Detroit still needs to get to upgrade PG, SG, SF and re-sign Drummond. They might be motivated to deal Monroe next.

I guess he got tired of getting bull**** trade offers. He let Jesus take the wheel on this one....I feel him on that. He wants to keep Monroe and Drummond together. It's not worth losing other guys and draft picks just to move Josh....

Jennings us in his dog house too so I wonder what his fate will be....
