41FG% and 24 three-point-FG% for the season. And the latter is no aberration for him because it's in the ballpark of what he shot his first two seasons in the league. What does this mean for his prospects as a fit in the triangle? Can we get away with a young guy who does everything else pretty well and may still improve his shooting ability?

We have many players who cannot shot.. like at-all... So he may be OK for us.

I don't particularly care for Reggie Jackson. Draft a tall "two way" PG and coach him to run the show. We dont need to be waisting money on Jackson.
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

He and westbook get to the line. Does Reggie get to the line. What is his TS?

The Knicks need a player named Reggie Jackson so they can peak in October

ah .... and that is the point. FG is
stupid ... see the questions you ask?

Yes ... Harden has always had an
ultra premium TS (60 ish).

Reggie Jackson's TS is pretty
bad. He does get assists and

rebounds and plays defense but
the TS is a bit scary

so here is what phil is thinking ....

His 3pt shooting is worrisome and needs to improve or take less 3s until he does improve to an average shooter. What he was before this year was a borderline efficient pg that rebounded and pass the ball well. He is also a good ft shooter and has improved getting to the line this year Plus he plays good D.

Do you know what the avg TS for Pgs was last year?

no Durant is probably affecting him.

He is looking more like 8 million.

Lets remember that Lowry got 12.

$8m will probably keep him in Okc unless the language in the contract is worked in away to scare okc.

But Lowry plays for a GM that is worth a damn. I don't think we have that same degree of clout.

I've soured on Reggie Jackson- I might take him on a reasonable contract, but any reasonable contract would be matched by OKC

yeah ... its pretty bad. I am assuming that the average is 52/53 though I would need to check.

And ... he wants to be paid far more than average.

Are those just the TS% of every pg or is there a minute/games/whatever filter?

All I can say is if we can get Reggie Jackson for less than the max, the Knicks need to do it. The kid play's defense (which by itself would be a huge upgrade as all of our current pgs cannot play defense (only Larkin tries and he gets lost sometimes and is too small). Plus, Jackson can take it to the hole and is a decent shooter. He will have to improve his shooting, but that is why you can sign him for less than the max. A backcourt of Jackson and Shumpert would really help our team defense. We then get rid of JR and try to add one more max player the following summer.
Trust the Process
