The guy is the 11th player on a 12 man team. really doesn't do anything on the court, except hit a couple of open shots. He is not the future of this team

Clearly identify the players who get minutes

Are in the future plans of this team


This is really a wild statement by you

I'm tired of the excuses of what fans say they see in a player


In limited minutes when in larger sample size of minutes

What we've seen from other players is pure trash who we know aren't part of the future

I think your link is invalid slightly

It's dated 11/28 which may not include

OKC game Wear was + 11 [Melo didn't play]

Heat game Wear was +6 and Melo +1

Nets game Wear was +2 and Melo -3


You say they all stink which is true

I also think your link is comparing +/- within the team


Whereas the link I dropped is calculating total +/-

Throughout the season, thus drawing the conclusion Wear has played


More positive minutes than any other players on our team

We're a winning team with Wear on the court right or are you thinking there's something more to this

Wear gets garbage time. Is he playing against the opponents starting line up, or the last few minutes of a game already decided?

I like Wear, and I hope we are grooming him for a larger role at another time. First 19 games is about what you got in a new system with contract guys.
+/- need be used properly.

Agreed especially when you're talking about a

Young player needing evaluation +/- is a good indication


Whether you should extend the rope more along with Per 36

Conversely you don't want to use +/- in determining

If another player is better than the field

we don't see in practice whats up, and young players can't just come in and play 36 minutes. They get gassed, make mistakes and the numbers go down.
They are in short spurts and go all out, so that skew's the numbers a bit.

You can increase Rolly Pollie's minutes for all I care play him fiddy minutes

With that said it's imperative play Wear more so we know what's going with this kid

I think he can play more mins but at this point I am ok with the mins he is given.

When he is on the floor it basically signifies our need for someone that can play within the offense and give effort on defense.

Wear is a guy who will look good playing a role surrounded with talent. He would have been great playing with Wade/Bosh/Lebron

Stand alone he doesnt bring much to the table a 100 other guys dont
