On the Silly MF'er scale of 1 to 10, that was about an 8.5

Too soon to make this, those numbers are still good. the 3pt shooting especially is elite.

but dont forget the 3 assists and 4 rebounds from the guard position.

I'm just as interested to see who goes and who stays after Dec. 15th. If the deal is good, I won't shed tears. I see Shump strictly in pragmatic terms at this point and have no deep attachment to him. He was our leader in quite a few games and has done way more good than bad, so I don't like seeing him flame out in games. I would like real consistency. If it doesn't happen, then I'm happy to leverage him into something else.

Regardless, Shump is clearly your cuckoo for cocoa puffs guy.

Shumpert is having a good year, has been the lone bright spot. But in typical knicks fan fashion, 2 bad shooting games means he is garbage...

You seem delighted that a player who was playing well now isn't playing as well. Hurray.

This is ridiculous.

If Shumpert has 2 good games in a row now will you create a thread praising him?

2 games

This isn't ridiculous, some who are rational

Feel Shump's hot start wasn't sustainable

His numbers will level off to normalcy

But let's flip this a second

The Raptors are 12-2, do you think the Raptors will win 70gms

They are on a threatening pace to do so

Or do you feel the Raptors will win closer to 48gms like they did last yr

You gotta see the forest through the trees

Surely he was not going to shoot 50% and 57%

But anything over his career 40% would be considered improvement. Even at 43-44%. His assists, Rebs and steals are also up.

Are you saying his shooting will dip below 40% by the end of the year?

I'd be satisfied with anything between 43-48%

Allan Houston who is considered an elite shooter shot 43% for his career. The more he became the go to guy and volume shooter the more his FG dipped

nobody cares about FG. His TS was 54.5 for his career which is decent. However, of course Houston was way overrated by guess who? Dumb homers.

Shumps TS is a putrid 49.5 quite horrible.

POM POM TIME

I beg to differ. It seems all everyone cares about is FG%

What are Shump's complete TS & usuage stats for his career? How much is he contributing by getting to the line, assists, steals, rebounds & team defense?

I most certainly care about FG% and his overall efficiency

He's still brickin free throws of all shots

But I do find it ironic there is more focus

On what Shumpert is doing offensively from

His Drum Line squad and not a peep of their disappointment

In his Sir Crap-A-Lot defense

I think most knew his beginnings this year was Aberrational

And everyone crapped on TYSON Chandler's defense. When are we going to admit that it's the team defense more so than any one individual defender? Albeit THJ is atrocious and JR very inconsistent

You can name drop them 2 all you want, one a perennial

Allergen to defense and the other who may not be capable

It doesn't absolve Shumpert from his atrocities this season

And lastly for the matter, 2 different coaches and systems yet same results

not the smart folks who know that the world is not flat.

look at Hardens FG percentage and you will see why it is a dumb stat.

Shumperts career TS is 49.5 (Feltontory). Nuff said.
