Nikolas Pekovic and Kevin Martin.....both injury prone but so is Kevin Love.

Pekovic has 4 years left (yikes), Martin has 3....

2015 is dead....

Pekovic averaged 17 and 8 in 30 mins last year...Kevin Martin averaged 19 and is a legit scorer at the 2.

Jason Smith/Quincy Acy
Melo/Outlaw
Pekovic/Cole
Calderon/Larkin
Martin/THJR

I'm just throwing **** out there, but If you want to talk about system players, the Knicks would be stacked with them if we picked up Pekovic and Martin.

Minnesota should be in full tank mode now. They have youth to develop now

Not a bad idea- would you rather sign Mark Gasol or be able to sign Pekovic and Martin? I think the latter. Amare for both would work, but better yet JR and Bargnani for both would work and would shed a little more long term cap space.

would be a great trade for us. You could use Dalembert's partially guaranteed contract to give them some savings.

I thought he was asking if we would make that trade. Pek isn't coming cheap. Be prepared to include THJ and a future first in any deal that they would consider.

Cleveland could use pekovic. You would think they wanted him in the deal. I don't think Minnesota is looking to trade pekovic and Rubio. With wiggins and Bennett they might have something

Also, if the rumors are true that they are trying to get Thad Young then I doubt they are trying to sell off those vets. Its more likely they are trying to get rid of Barea, Moute, Brewer?, and Shved.

Those are all expiring except for Brewer. Why wouldn't they just let them expire. Moving any of those guys w/o attaching an asset will be tough

Maybe pekovic to Cleveland didn't work capwise. I can see Minnesota going on a cavs like run if wiggins becomes one of the best players in the game. They have pieces around him. They don't have to rebuild. Someone like Thad Young would be nice for them

So you are trying to make the case that Minny was going to give up Peko and Love. That doesn't make sense for Minny to do that unless Clevland has some more number 1s they would like to give up.

Right for another 1st round pick but it I don't think pekovic would've fit under the cap

Well maybe Pekovic clogs up the basketball court too much now with Kyrie, Lebron and Love....that's why he wasn't included....Pekovic makes what Tyson was making so they would have to match it....

Anyway....The Knicks Could absolutely use Pekovic....the Knicks need to call and see what they are thinking right now. Minnesota might feel they want to stick Martin and and Pekovic with Bennett and Wiggins....They have more young guys than anything now so they might want to consider resetting.

I'm thinking Bargs, Dalembert and Shumpert for Martin and Pekovic.....They dump so much salary it's retarded. We get two new starters at the 5 and the 2.

Knicks still have JR and THJR to be the back up 2.

Amare still comes off the books after the year....but **** man....

Jason Smith
Melo
Pekovic
Calderon
Martin

with JR, THJR, Amare, Acy, Cole, Outlaw, Larkin, Priggy, Cleanthony....

I can dig that roster

That team's not good enough to get out of the 2nd round. It might not be good enough to make it out of the 1st.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

so if we just keep the team as is we don't make the playoffs I guess

Why would a team give up a young, 17ppg and 8rpg big man for free?
