4. Cap space is right around the corner. We will have huge flexibility to add to an established core of vets and youth.

5. A real system and good culture. There is an identity with this team to build on top of.

Keep in mind we aren't a contender but there are at least a ton of things to get excited about to keep us going. We have a ton of opportunities moving forward.

1) the contract is not fair to the knicks it's outrageous.
2) one hopes that the team's identity is based on system basketball, and not merely one underachieving one-way player-- franchise guy? please
3) fifteen months and an entire season is not right around the corner.
4) a team culture is good only if players buy into it. primadonnas have a hard time buying in. they believe they ARE the culture as you have already unfortunately alluded to in (2).

i am resigned to being indifferent unless there is something truly miraculous coming up this year but the more likely event is that we will witness shouldergate.
