McRoberts would be a realistic player, he played many games where he had pts, rebounds, assist, and now added 3pt shot and penetration of the dribble *though as the 4th/5th option*
At best 3rd at times but, we need him to be the 4th/5th option to be a contending team

Gasol, he would be a great addition if he can stay healthy.

Yeah, Gasol followed by Hill and McRoberts. Hill's energy and rebounding would fit several needs.

Hill is an interesting choice because his rebounding rate is quite high. Maybe if he got a bigger role he would shine and do something that that time sorely needs.

Gasol is obviously the best player and with Melo would be an interesting pair.

Hill and Blake are good role players.

and yonug legs. He's a guy who could be a fixture for a long time. Gasol is great but very short term and he's going to miss alot of games. I think Hill is a nice S&T prospect for a pair of our young guards (not THjr). Some mix of Shump/Ellington/Larkin/Murray (S&T back) etc... and give Hill 3 years $15mm. He could win the starting job and be looking at a nice extension in a couple years.

Marc Gasol, please. But Pau on a short-ish deal will suffice until we can steal his bro.

Pau is going to go from $19mil to minimum wage to sit again at the feet of the Zenmaster? I don't think so. He's got rings already.
Out of those 5, give me Jordan Hill. He might not be smart enough for tkf, but I'd rather have him than these old retreads.

What, no votes for Andrew Bynum?

Not really sure how Gasol fits with the team- he'll add salary in 2015 too. He declined years ago, not sure he's worth it. Whats his defense like nowadays? We desperately need to add a defensive front court player- Bargs and Amar'e are bad enough, but when added to Calderon and Tim Jr, I have nightmares!

I want nothing to do with Hill. Maybe Gasol only because were desperate. Does anyone really wanna give Bynum another test run? Depends on the deal. Assuming Melo is gone, Gasol isn't going to save us. I might just take the cap room. Blake really made progress under MDA but we have what appears to be adequate PG's now. Why pay for more? I guess I'll take any of them if they come very cheap or on a one year deal. But Gasol is seeking a good salary that we probably can't afford anyway.

Pau is also apparently going to play the wait-and-see-who-lands-where game before making a decision. Unless of course he gets an offer that's greatly bizarre for a 34-year old who apparently "mailed it in" last season. So he's not going to sign for anything near an MLE and do you really want to invest more than that in him, even without Melo?

Out of that group, Jordan Hill. Just feel he's a very nice player. Actually had no problem with selecting him in the draft a few years ago. I feel Pau's definitely on the decline. Even with deminished skills, I feel Gasol would cost a lot more too. He's not the answer. I feel his best days are behind him...Hill's a real nice PF in his prime, capable of starting and putting up 15/10 every night. Big enough, active, solid rebounder, with a nice inside/outside offensive game. He'd cost less than Gasol but I have trouble seeing us able to get him with either the $3.3mm ML or the $3.6mm TE...Hill probably gets a contract starting in the neighborhood of around $5mm or more, no? Also, I felt D'Antoni jerked this kid around hardcore his rookie season. Did that experience completely turn him off to NYC? I hope not.

I like Hill but he feels like a longshot for us to me unless like fishmike mentioned, maybe we do a S&T to get him. We definitely have a ton of off-guards now..That wouldn't be terrible...I'd be down for something like that. Hill's definitely a nice player that makes sense and could help us. Let's see what Phil does over the next several days..

Hill. Gasol is old, has bad knees, and based on the stats, can't really guard anyone anymore.

and we would still have the MLE and trade exception to add some bodies. Hill still has legit upside as a big in this league, and is a nice player right now. Granted those #s were on a horrible team so beware, but at least he did fill out the stat sheet. I like Hill alot. Enough to give up something. I would like him cheap, but I think there will be a great market for Hill. I think you sell him on a chance to start in NY in a year or so and the fact that if he plays well here he will get paid more then most places.

Maybe Larkin/Dalembert for Hill S&T 3 years $20mm. I still think thats a good deal for us who just might get our starting 4 for the next few years. He could def be nice Horace Grant type. I like Hill here and also thought MDA handled him poorly. Time will tell, but its suddenly nice to have some options rather than wondering how we will get rid of Felton
