I have a feeling Phil is going to do something very unpredictable before Melo makes his decision. After all, none of us expected a deal as bold as the Mavs deal. We acquired a ton of assets and the cupboard is no longer bare. He might be making a push after Gasol, but that may be too predictable. I am expecting him to manuver a big deal involved a sign and trade for Greg Monroe or someone else of that magnitude. Either way, i don't think we will see it coming (unless the Gasol thing comes true.) Any other predictions?

Greg Monroe is a nice thought. There is a big on the horizon. You know we arent going in with THjr, JR, Shump and the greek at SG, along with Ellington. Will it be just a balacing type move? Or something more splashy.

The thing is you have to be patient with Amare and Bargs. If they show bounce back seasons they have good value. If they stink their value is the same.

I am not expecting something as Earth Shattering as Landing Greg Monroe... But Damn that would be awesome...
Would anyone be upset if something like Shumpert & Future 1st(Top 10 Protected) + filler for Monroe came down the pipe?

I have a feeling that Thanos will be stashed overseas. That leaves Ellington, who's owed $2.8M next season.

he had a great season in the D league. We have a couple of heady PGs so there is less pressure on SG to facilitate. He's 6'6 with a 7'0 wingspan. He's very very strong and has great size. Dont be shocked if he makes the roster.

I think he makes the squad but I disagree about his great season in the dleague. I only watched two of his games so I could have caught a couple of off nights. When I watched he didn't stand out and I watched them because he was playing. I am a lot more excited after watching videos that have been posted of his playing

well you figure he's got some tools, but he also fell to 50s for a reason. He's the kind of guy I would expect to be an impact player in the summer league. Fingers crossed.

He got a ton of assets, probably a prelude to another big deal to come.

Doesn't sound like the Knicks are on Pau's radar so I expect Jackson to find another post player who will thrive in the triangle. I have no idea who.

Not everyting will play out in the media. I expect Pau won't come unless money open up or we do a one year deal and Marc comes in 2015. With all the Ex lakers TrianglePhiles in place there need not be a big Tour de Pau.

Pau is a piece, not the center Piece. He'll be later in the month. Just my guess.
Maybe we got a sign and trade in place with the lakers for Bargs to open up some cap?

NO. I thought it was great that there wasn't another, 'I told you so thread.' Those drive me nuts.

How about those "Man Up" threads? Those were awesome.
