I liked this young but Experienced chap Speros
whom seem to develop a good chemistry on air with Clyde
Frazier Knick legend.

Did Speros leave on his own?
Or was Dedes not positive enough
on Knick broadcasts about the Knick
team.

Seems the good or Knick MSG hires whom
leave always gets a better next gig.

Jokers/roster:

What does that infer? about Garden ongoing politics
Nyk Dolan need to get rid of Steve Mills & Allan
Allan Houston but of course these guys are utmost more Important to Garden bosses !though neither Mills or Houston does a damn thing here!

Exactly. Brought absolutley nothing to the table. You have guys on sports radio filling in for Knicks/Nets games for less money and do a much better job and are passionate. Spero is boring, oblivious and really annoying to listen to. You wish he would stop talking so you can here Brendan brown and Clyde only.

Brendan Brown, Hubie's son, as an analyst is a joy to listen to. Really knows the game and knows when to be praise and be critical. If Clyde ever steps away from the booth Brown should be the guy to step in.

I listen to a lot of Knicks games on the radio. Not hearing spero's anyone voice really makes me happy. No sense of humor whatsoever.

I wonder who will get the gig

but as far as bringin' stuff to table
How can any announcer do that? with inferior
inept/bad product all yr. called NY Knickerbockers.
If anything I feel Dedes & Clyde got in some good
talks on air to divert viewing Disasters of Knicks TV
during Knicks TV while NY team was embarrassing
theirselves doing their jobs.
At least Dedes/Clyde did their job without
going overboard on Knicks bad product.
Believe Dedes did more than less for putrid Knick coach Woodson & Speros was more than fair.
Whom going to come in here? & lie on Knick TV for Team really dogging it!

garden is a joke they wanna boost & BOAST their Knick product whom frankly Su-xxed in 2013/2014, in the weak NBA east.

Bob Wischusen was a GREAT announcer the several times he worked for the knicks. dedes was <meh>
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

As far as bring something to the table. Gus brought passion and you could tell he was into the game. Breen has that also and Breen actually bring other elements knowledge of things outside of the game and he has his calling card "Bang" Marv has stories and has knowledge of basketball and his trade make "yes". With Spero he doesn't have that down yet. The
Passion was lacking in his play by play.

He was just bland- plus I used to think he sounded a bit like Alan Hahn, so sometimes when I tuned in I'd think 'oh good- I wonder if he'll have anything interesting to say', and then I'd realise it was Speros

Not sure why he left, but all I know is he is light years better than Breen.
Breen is the absolute worst to watch, especially home games.

When watch announcers for other teams, they actually root for or at at least don't talk negatively most of the time a player on their roster touches the ball.

Breen was pretty unprofessional/biased in regards to Melo. You can't go after the teams best player because your lunch buddy resigned and you blame the player for it. Especially when the team wins a ton of games once a change is made. I always enjoy JVG calling out Breen when his bias is on display. Breen seems to have mellowed this past year and his personal vendetta isn't as obvious but the guy is still hard to listen to at times.

He went out of his way to defend Mark Jackson a bit too during the game..I think he should try to stay professional and keeps his personal feeling away from the broadcast..I can deal with the Pablo love because it's part of the game..I like Mark but I'm not sure if the game was the forum to defend him...
