Maybe he is just looking for a coach that can teach the triangle but wants to be the one that motivates the players and makes the real decisions. Maybe he is really gonna be the coach without doing the daily babysitting. He certainly does not want a coach like a van gundy who will have their own philosophy. This is gonna be interesting and a maybe a bit unprecedented. so here is what phil is thinking ....

Lue's been an assistant coach for several years now with Doc Rivers (I think). I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss him if that were the case. |
