Give him a serious 20 game chance. Lets see what we have. What good comes out of playing Ray Felton and his 2-9's? Can someone make an organizational decision that makes sense--give Toure Murry extended minutes--what exactly do we have to lose.

Also since we signed Clark and Brown--see how they integrate a little?? Keep Melos and Chandlers minutes down to 25-30 rest of way

It isn't happening till we are mathematically out of the play offs

We should have made a decision prior to this deadline, no one is going to bail us out this summer
The value of our players will continue to drop and teams will lowballs us even more from here on

Our best bet if if Melo works out a sign and trade with us to Houston where there is no STATE tax, they have the picks to give us something (though I don't think it would be what we are exactly looking for)

At this point, trade Iman/Chandler/Tim Hardaway Jr, and Felton/JR when we think we got anything decent or better

I don't see players wanting to come to this team in 2015, not with our inability to improve, we are going to have to rebuild, collect assets, hopefully get some quality role players/ 2nd tier stars in 2015 AT THE RIGHT PRICE, then pray in 2016 we can convince the ALL STAR's in that class to join us

I just don't see Dolan accepting this but that is our best chance of building the best team at this point, NY is a tough place to play in if they don't have talent, NO ALL STAR's are going to want to come here to lose and get that media attention

McKinsey needs to convince Dolan to change his management, GM, and Coaching staff, convince him he needs to stay out of basketball decisions, and use his $$/POWER/CONNECTION'S/and Networks/MSG channel to attract FA's to come here, but he will need preserve his cap room in order to do so

We are going to have to do what every other team does when they stink, REBUILD, unfortunately we have traded too many future assets, and unless we can get good assets back in the above, it is going to be very tough to do....

Felton should be benched. He is not the solution nor has he been any type of answer. Can we invest 20 games into Murry with 35 minutes a night--what can happen negatively? He fails--we lose 14 more games? You don't know if you don't try.

Cosign... Aldrich & Tyler too. I say play all 3 big minutes the rest of the way. At least let Aldrich show that he could supply the same production as Chandler for millions cheaper (better rim protection too). I agree man. Let's see it!

Right--why not give Aldrich starting C minutes--again what is the worst case scenario--what if he starts grabbing 17 boards and blocks 3 shots.

Didn't Earl Barron do that grab boards hit the 10-15 ft jumper efficiently. What did he get? That's right a kick in the pants out the door.

So we cut Felton and cut Chandler to "save" money. Yeah, okay.

No you *sit* Felton and reduce Chandler's minutes(as to keep him healthy for trade if need be) and play two young guys extended minutes in the last 20 games that have little meaning. We need to be forward thinking--we need to get something out of this season.

They aren't thinking about getting anything out of this season. They are already scheming how to get Eric Gordon, monte Ellis Brandon Jennings or josh smith here to be melo's maxed out running mate for the expiring a of Amare and Bargs

OK....I agree with everybody. Even the fans that hasn't chimed in yet. I get it. Play the young guns. My question is who's going to inform Woodson of this master plan? The fans can't be the only high basketball IQ thinkers in this organization. If so, we are in more trouble than I thought.

Is there a twitter account somewhere. What about Woodson's radio show? Anybody planning on going to Dolans next band concert? Anybody with some connections on the inside? I would really like to know what these guys (knick management) is thinking right now? I'm sure fans would rather pay a cheap price to hear that, than to over pay for a Garden seat, watching this garbage.

Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland. The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!

Man talk about bad free agency the Pistons last 4 big signings were Ben Gordon Charlie V Josh Smith and Branden Jennings. After Joe Dumars passed on Carmelo and Wade he has been real real bad. I do not think Melo is a Knick next year and my God we do not want Branden Jennings. IF Eric Gordon was healthy--Id take him but he hasnt been and thats why they want to move him. The trades the Knicks tried to make but did not execute--for Lowry and Jordan Hamilton wouldve been quality moves--AND if we had the opportunity--we shouldve moved Shumpert to OKC for their pick. We needed a shake up and we didnt execute.

BRIGGS, seriously, you *sit* Felton? How does that work, exactly?

Woodson: "Ray, hey, I need a minute..."
Felton: "Yeah coach"
Woodson: "look, we're going in a different direction..."
Felton: "other than down?"
Woodson: "yeah, let me finish"
Felton: "yeah, I've heard this before, so let me stop you now. Call my agent, trade my azz, I'm not sitting"
Woodson: "I'd rather have you tutor this Murray kid..."
Felton: "That's nice, I haven't announced retirement yet. I'm healthy, I practice, I want to play"
Woodson: "Well, for the good of the team, I thought you would..."
Felton: "Nice talking to you coach" [walks away]

This is NYC, not Toronto. We don't tank, we play meaningless games right up until the bitter end. And then we draft (when we can draft) John Wallace or Mike Sweetney or See you next season Gallo.

Barring injury, you will watch Stat dribbling off his feet into April.

It would be more like
Woodson: "Ray... come in my office"
Felton: "coach... quit siding with JR I didnt eat the freakin glazed ones, I KNOW you got dibs..."
Woodson: "no no... its not that Ray. The season is a nightmare, front office wants to see what we have in the young guys."
Felton: "Ill tell you what we have... some disrespecting punks that dont know the coach loves glazed"
Woodson: "Sorry Ray.. I need you to be a pro about this."
Felton: "FINE! FINE! F-it!!!! I ate the glazed! Are you happy? Im going through a divorce. Geeze.. back off a dude."
Woodson: (facepalm)

all kidding aside, Toure Murry might impress enough to be the 3rd string PG next year. If we are going to look at a prospect we cant do better?

They are playing Felton thinking that his trade value can only go up. NOT WORKING.

I remember when some people on this board were liking the Felton signing. And, when he was bricking after we signed him they wanted him to continue shooting!

50000 FINE EVER YTIME HE SHOOTS THE BALL!!

so here is what phil is thinking ....
