![]() Giannis' ceiling is higher just on physical gifts alone. He is truly a "Freak" and if he can harness that potential the guy is going to be a wrecking ball. Think the evolutionary Andrei Kirilenko with a guard's handle and stroke. Will he put it all together and reach those lofty heights? Who knows.
Look at his fuh-king hands!!! |

The point is players that are under rookie contract's are either developed to be the Tony Parker, Manu, Bynums, or used as assets to acquire KG to Boston, Ray Allen to Boston, Rasheed Wallace and Ben Wallace to Detroit, Prince/Affalo/Okur picks = assets drafted developed players are under rookie contracts, allowing you to spend the money elsewhere to acquire talent
Laker's acquired Pau Gasol with Marc Gasol and cap space, in addition to drafting Bynum, in addition to building with Kobe and Shaq the first time around, and have won multiple times I showed you how Boston used draft picks to compete for a couple of years and have won I showed you how Detroit competed for a couple of years as contenders and won Pacer's core has been built with rookies, none of which are even top 5 picks, they have made it to game 7 in the ECF 3 years in a row, with a bright future, George Hill *traded for with rights to Kawaii Leanard*
Westbrook
Jeff Green used in trade Houston Rockets collected assets, recycling assets, got Harden *which lead to D12 and a core* Drafted Parsons Signed D12
going back further, I don't need to name all the players drafted Jordan/Pippen/Kukoc/ many of their ROLE PLAYERS Bulls Lakers Magic Johnson, Kareem Detroit with "BAD BOYS" Celtics "with Bird, McHale, Parish"
YOOT's don't win, themselves, they are just needed to BUILD A CONTENDING TEAM, you can only sign so much talent, Wade was drafted by the Heat and the trio was the main reason they won that was a RARE chance to retool 3 ALL STAR's in one season And that is why 2015 is so important, with our lack of draft picks, we need to continue to collect talent in draft picks, and then SIGN a core in 2015 much like the Heat did in order for us to contend We are unable to currently to contend because Amare both make up the entire salary cap themselves, limiting our ability to acquire talent with flawed players, and that is why every year we need to pray for vet min steals and trade for garbage that their own team doesn't even want and still collect assets for them
Kobe was unable to do without a core of players, once with shaq and role players, and then with Bynum, Gasol, and even Odom Ariza/MWP playing vital roles And that is why you cannot pay Melo if we want to contend, because he cannot win without a core, and we cannnot build or buy a core around him if he is going to take 1/2 the cap first |

HOWEVER, Giannis' probably has the highest upside in the league right now. He has the chance to be ridiculously good. He has physical gifts which are unmatched and already has a nice stroke and handle (and he's what 6'11"?!?). And he's only been playing for a couple years I believe. If he puts it all together he's going to be a monster. |

![]() Giannis has Tracy McGrady/Scottie Pippen potential. Im hoping the kid can put that together. He's very driven drum what I read about him.
Seeing Thjr I see his determination and killer instinct. Kid wants to be good too. I can see him starting at the 2 next year if the coach gives him a chance and put up 14pts per. So it's a wash to me. The knicks really could use both. Subscribe to my Podcast https://youtube.com/c/DiehardknicksPodcast

![]() knicks fans would be the only one to say hardaway but giannis is dripping with star potential. he can be a defensive lockdown type of player and a matchup nightmare everywhere on the court. hardaway can develop into a catch and shoot 3 point guy (like korver) but his defense is not good at all.
