I will give you a hint...
The owners initials are JD
No not Jack Daniels but you're warmer
If they had a few decent players besides Melo they'd be good. Everybody believes Love is worth the money, right? We are lining up to max him out yet his roster is better and guess what...they such too. Looking at salaries from around the league Melo really wouldn't be offered less than that.
or maybe if we actually had one great player and leader we would be good as well..
LeBron left Cleveland bc his team sucked. He decided to play with the best SG in the league and a top 5 PF at the time. Clearly the best player in the league and pretty much everybody else disagrees with u on the one guy thing.
no, as great as lebron is, I don't think it is fair to say his team that made it to the finals.. Sucked..
He left to stack the deck in miami.. It worked, but he also lost some respect for that... but in the end, he got his rings..
But his team didn't SUCK...

clearly you have no understanding of what I am saying.. I never , ever believed in the one guy thing.. especially if you are trying to win a ring.. my point is, it may be fair to say add a better player and leader to this group and we probably are better.. not championship better, but better... knicks fans are now in spin mode.. everyone sucks, except poor carmelo who has been playing his ass off... I mean Please.. enough of that..
I agree with the Cleveland finals team comment. Also think they would have got past Boston the year they lost to them in ECF but the refs really hosed Cleveland in that series. They surrounded him with role players that made sense. As a team, they played well. It was media perception that the teammates were garbage and it was just Lebron. While LeBron is the best player in the league, others have to contribute or your not going anyway.
I assumed that is what you meant from some of your other posts. I honestly think the roster is so poor as a collective whole that a one player swap, unless it was for LeBron wouldn't help us much. It's almost unbelievable how bad the guard play on this team is. Melo is a volume shooter and leads in 3 point % by a wide margin over our guards that log heavy minutes. And many of those are low percentage shots relative to his teammates. I do qustion the effort of some of the key players that the Knicks were banking, but effort isn't the real problem. Poor roster construction is.
