He said a very big source and that it should be reaching other media outlets.

Basically they feel it's Melo who should be traded. They like him as a person but they feel he is responsible for the losing because the ball sticks

They are down on Woodson for allowing it to happen and not doing anything about it but they blame Melo

One is a close friend of Melo

My guess:
JR
Kmart
Amare
Shumpert
Tyson

Amare already once openly stated these feelings so I could be him.

Melo is the only one who has played hard every night. I can only think of one night he didn't and that was the Charlotte game last week. Look at the shooting of everyone else. Melo was making a big effort to feed Stat in the post and look for open men. NO ONE CAN MAKE SHOTS. TYSON IS USELESS ON O. What do people want from Melo? Incredible.

Hopefully this ignites the fire sale and send Melo out.

Seems like some of the dudes who are feeling the pressure from not performing want to redirect the scrutiny...Melo has been getting more positive press this year than previous years...Misery wants company...

I wouldn't include Amare in the finger pointing..I think it's those who have been mentioned in trades...Have to say tho, we need players who looks in the mirror and holds themselves accountable...Pointing fingers are for losers...

Tyson is probably the one bitching. And he's as much to blame as many for this garbage.

It's woodsy fault! It's Melo's fault! It's afternoon games fault! It's the orange uni's fault! These players are some of the most pathetic, PATHETIC players we've ever had- look in the god damn mirror! You don't f***ing try! you don't defend! you don't hit open shots! You play with NO heart!

You know this based on? Are you friends with Kay? Breen? Are you aware that Kay used to work for MSG as a Knicks reporter?

Enough blame to go around including Melo, but this sounds more about players wanting to pad their stats than about winning. Don't know if its still the case but he was leading the league in minutes for a while, that should be enough to keep it in house. If his teammates were doing their jobs, he wouldn't have to.

Well I say this because I listen to Kay's show a lot..He is very close friends with Breen..Over the past few years especially when MDA was here, Kay was mouthing the same exact stuff Breen was mouthing..It wouldn't surprise me one bit if he is indeed "a person close to the situation" as Kay termed it...Just speculation tho..

I was thinking the same thing. Breen hated Melo. He seems to have at least become more professional in regards to broadcasts but I think he was really irked that his lunch buddy resigned.

Yeah, he seemed hurt by MDA's departure...But just speculation on my part..

Didn't take a rocket sciencetist to figure this out.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Papabear Says

Look they better not worry about Melo they just better do thier job because if they don't they will be a players minimum salary or out of the NBA. None of them would be starting for any team over 500.

The ball sticking is not all on Melo. Look at the other players- they catch, and typically allow the defense to get set before making a move. They think, they don't react/attack. I tend to think some of that is on the coach.

Melo plays hard, holds the ball and only sometimes works at finding the open man. And his fa departure could be working to undermine team unity.

We won 54 games last year, why weren't they blaming him then? This sucks. Now Michael Kay is jerking us around with rumors.
