Vote in all the Mike Woodson polls/ threads/ subcommittees you want. The Knicks players follow the tempo, defensive tenacity and decision-making of their starting guard. Felton played the role of distributor in early Janauary and there was hope.

He played matador defense against Kemba Walker and Collison. He was invisible against the Pacers.

Our offense runs out of sync and without improvisation. Felton has limited court vision and makes the cross court pass an adventure. It is a shame to waste the warrior effort of Melo. Even Jeremy Tyler shows evidence of post play... if someone gets him the ball where he can maneuver.

It ain't the coach, because the coach ain't on the court.

Let's see what happens when Pablo returns. I'd bench Pablo and Beno but that's me. Chances are Woodson continues to over rely on Felton

Also, Murry really struggled against Collison. It will be interesting if small, super quick guys give him troubles.

gunsnewing - Pablo is lovable and understands passing angles.

Cons - outside of a few sneaky steals, he is a sieve on defense and 73 years old.

Crush - we need a super quick dude in orange and blue.

What da hell... play JRSmith at the point. His ball handling does not suck that bad and his length would help on defense. Dare him to get 10 assists. Force him to lead. Who knows? He might embrace the responsibility like a new teddy bear.

What do we have to lose?

Chris Childs played with a crazy good ball handler named Spree. Kurt and Camby hit each other with passes like cousins.

Charlie Ward won the Heisman as a quarterback and had a dude named Ewing in the post.

You cannot be serious.

Those guys played excellent defense and the knocked down shots. They both were Good leaders and were composed on the court. Felton is none of the above.

We saw this last year..Question is why didn't the GM have the foresight to add another PG that brings tempo to the offense...

Holfresh - when you consider that our general manager had to know that Jason Kidd would leave a huge void, the misuse of Summer League (whether Shump played or not) was a major error.

Practically giving Chris Smith every opportunity to play point guard, while his deficiencies were evident to Stevie Wonder, prevented a fair assessment of anyone else - including Toure Murry.

When Chris Smith made the final roster every Knicks player (any anyone paying attention) knew the fix was in.

Signing Jason Kidd was a mistake and we were lucky he took the job with the Nets...We needed a PG to push the tempo, JKIdd was done three years ago...

We need to get into the draft and take 2 PG's. PG is a position we need to put much more of a priority going 4 ward.

Holfresh - the disparity in fast break points last night was ridiculous. Last I checked it was something like 34-4 in favor of Clippers.

Crazy.

Also don't know if I trust woodsons innovative offense unless we get an on the floor coach like Kidd in his prime

Gunsnewing - this is not football, where plays are run to precision in less than ten seconds

Without superior ability, basketball coaching diagrams mean nothing.

Basketball demands improvisation and adaptation. Care to identify the player we can get our hands on who can contribute that?

Remember when Felton and Amare first came to the Knicks and the term BullDog was used to refer to Felton? That guy is long gone. No effort or determination any more.

We also work too hard to get buckets...It's unsustainable over the course of a game ..Melo works too hard for his baskets..Felton works too hard to get others an open look...Their efforts are unsustainable over the course of a game much less a 4th game in the 5th night...
