Tyson Chandler Misses Jason Kidd, Kurt Thomas, Marcus Camby and Sheed

"Absolutey," Chandler said. "When you lose those guys your talking about a Hall of Famer and a guy in Kurt Thomas that has been a special player in the league for a long time ... But I definitely think that there's room for guys that are in the locker room now to grow and step into that void and it's just a learning experience."

On second thought, The Answer Man is riding with Raymond Felton and the rest of the fellas... win or lose...

... at least finish playing December like something was learned.

I think we really miss Copeland too- we don't really have any bench scorers, so Woody is over playing Melo. However Cope isn't getting any burn with the Pacers, so maybe he would have stunk this year if he'd signed with us.

Steve Novak seems to have fallen of the radar as well.

Could it be that last seasons roster blend had a special ingredient that cannot be described in statistics or opinion?

Cope will wait a year before completely tearing up the league. Just wait. It will happen.

can't see how the Lakers haven't traded for Novak, his only real success came under mDA

Would have been better off keeping Copeland and signing Nate Robinson then the Bargnani trade and JR signing. He's a much better shooter.

Moochie Norris was a better shooter than Nate or Cope.

Considering that the statistical models had us around 56 wins last season and 33 wins this season I would say no, it can be described in statistics.

Jeremy Lin, 2010 Raymond Felton, 2008 Duhon even. We had Lin gifted to us by the basketball Gods. Won't happen again...

Good comparison. I think Felton is a better player but, gotta give Childs props for the 1 2 on Kobe.

Chris child's, for all his flaws, always seemed pretty clutch to me- seemed to have a knack for scoring 3 pointers when we needed them.
