The trade rumors has re-surfaced and nobody wants to leave NY, but they would love for some of their teammates to leave. Knicks don't play when there is dissension and management is putting names out there. What's going on behind the scenes with this team is incredible, so incredible that they won't even play for each other when those problems(Rumors) arise.

They need to bring Jason Thompson (Mt Laurel NJ native) to NY for whom ever, he immediately becomes our rebound machine guy when he avg 8.5 rebounds per game in 2009. He's shooting a career 49% from the field. This is the perfect guy in the need of new scenery. Bring him home we need his big body presence at 6"11 250

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Detroit -NY trade Scenario

Knicks receive Greg Monroe, Charlie V (expiring), Stuckey(expiring), 2014 1st round pick (lottery protected)

At first glance it's an awful trade then you see the expiring contracts and 1st rd picks and that changes things?

Is this rumor real?

This my trade scenario, remember Detroit passed on Melo in the draft , now they have a chance to get him again.

Jennings
Billups
Melo
Smith
Drummond

Knicks arent trading Melo.

If they did it would be for a young allstar. Old Ray Allen was worth the 5th pick.

Melo is worth more than a lottery pick.

I would trade Melo for Darko if I could!

JT is having a down year and he's shooting 47 percent from the field. I would be OK with bringing him at a cheaper price.

Dumars annoyed me this offseason- you have a promising front court of Drummond and Monroe, so you go and sign Josh Smith?! And then you add insult to injury by getting Jennings. He has been an awful GM for years- gets away with it by blaming the coaches every time!

I agree with this completely... last year they sucked for every single matinee. This year they got crushed in both matinees. This team wasn't too strong in the leadership department last year and was full of partyers. Now the team has lost all its veteran depth and I suspect it is even worse

So are you saying the other games where we got "jacked up " they were partying during the week too.

And the games where we blew teams out they turned away the bottle ?

Did Jason Kidd show the Nets how to do the bottle drop too ? SMH

I am not disagreeing with any of the other theories as to why they stink for the rest of the schedule. HOWEVER, it is impossible not to notice that for the overwhelming majority of matinees that the Knicks go beyond stinking.

Figures that the conspiracy guy won't buy the simplest explanation

HA HA

Not long ago do you remember after the trade deadline the knicks players played totally different, they were no longer concerned about trade rumors.
