I have been gaming since the Sega Master System/original Nintendo and still love to play when I can.
PS3 was my favorite system of the last gen and the last of us was fantastic. I still have mine but have upgraded to a PS4 which I love so far. I also had a 360 but sold it after I got my PS3. Both consoles are great, I just prefer Sony's exclusives. Wii U is also fun if you like old Nintendo games and new Mario. I just can't wrap my hands around the idea of a ps4. I will eventually get it but probably next year or maybe after that. I didn't jump in the ps3 bandwagon when it first came out. I actually bought my first console in September. I know it's odd that I waited that long especially when the 4 was coming out. I just don't see how these games can improve. There are some incredible ps3 games. Ive played with friends and family at their homes because I did not want to be sucked in. I'm married now and expecting a child so im going to be home so I might as well stay out of trouble lol.

The advantage of getting the ps3 so late is games like Resistance Fall of man is $2.99! That game was rated 9.5 when it came out. I played it years ago but now I'm going to sit and enjoy it for pennies lol. Anybody ever play it? It's was a launch game.

I am a HUGE gamer. showing my age but I have been gaming longer than some of you been alive ( 30 years). my first system was colecovision almost exactly 30 years ago on x-mas and never stopped since ( except after the video game crash in the mid 80's). i have a ps3 and xbox. love the ps3 more and the games that were mentioned, particularly gta5 and last of us are the best video games i have ever played. EVER! uncharted 3 is up there too. that is why i think ps3 is better than 360 ( though alan wake was awesome). i got the ps4 too but its a gift for my son for xmas so i wont know how good it is until then. also the person saying that infamous is meh should stick with it. towards the end, you are practically a god and you have real fun. makes you feel like you are definitely a superhero ( or villain).

Me too. My first system was a Sears Pong. I entered what I believe was the first large scale video game tournament in the country, in the mid 70s when I was in grammar school.
