I love the Knicks and i wnat them to do well in teh future. i believe that we took our best shot last year and even though we won 54 games(which was great) we arent gonna go further with this group. I felt the same way at the end of Ewing's tenure here. I dont hate melo he is a great scorer but he hanst shown to be a great overall player who can lead a team as a contender. we shouldnt overpay for him. If we are still playing poorly by the tarde daedline we should try and get back some draft picks. I dont want a repeat of the isiah thomas years where we kept trading away value for bloated contracts

I agree. It's sad that people who want to rebuild towards a real contender have to explain that they don't hate the Knicks but I can understand why you posted that.

Look i hate rebuilding because it takes time. Im also a met fan and we have bene rebuidng for 4-5 years. I just want the Knicks to have a good future. This organization constantly gets rid of first round picks for bloated contracts of overpayed players

Knick fan, please understand, the economics are such that the Knicks will never rebuild ..It's an axiom of NY Knick basketball...Running the Garden is too costly to have it empty for years ...MSG has gone public, so stock holders to answer to...Knicks are now the currently the most valuable franchise in the NBA..Dolan isn't turning back now ...He just spend 1 billion on the Garden...U have to approach this topic with logic and with some sense of reality...

Well from 2002-2009 the knicks were always one of the worst teams in the league and people still went to the games. Id rather try and get some good young talent instea dof bloated contracts of one dimensional players taht give us the same result anyway

You don't have to be bad to rebuild. Houston lost Yao and T-Mac but never dropped below .500.

Right; they ignored the sabermetrics and suffered. I should have clarified, if you use the right pieces of information to make your decisions, you don't have to be bad to rebuild.

And as an owner, he could care less about what u think...Dolan cares about the bottom line..But that is your opinion on what is best, doesn't make u correct...

Gee, I never realized everyone wants Lebron.
Seriously that has nothing to do with the conversation. I don't think anything you said does.

The guy u wanted running the show and whose plan u endorsed signed Amare, who happens to be the reason we can't compete...Can we agree on that???
