Don't Hate The City Dancers, Hate Chris Smith Being Given A Knicks Uni.

Bogus roster choices create bad karma. As long as Chris Smith is on the roster, we are cursed.

Raymond Felton is not the guard to lead this group of strangers. His court awareness is off by just enough time to be predictable and easy to defend. He is barely adequate in half court sets. On defense, he does not show consistent reaction speed or lateral quicks to guard the edge. He must sit. Play Toure Murry.

I Man Shumpert needs a running buddy who can get him the ball on the run, and attack. Unfortunately, Pablo is only good for brief bursts. Start him. Then bring Toure Murry.

JR Smith is a starter. Let him play the point. Turnovers? So what. Let him run. Bargnani needs to be more vocal. Stop deferring and play aggressive. Post him up. Dare him to drive the paint.

Melo needs a rest. Amare is done.

Jmpasq - absolutely. JR at lead guard would be loads more fun than watching Felton pound the ball to nowhere.

At least Toure Murry would be interesting to watch.

Amare has to play big minutes to get in basketball shape. If Amare goes down so be it was meant to be.

Tourre Murray being inserted would become our new Linsanity, if Melo would only endorse him.

I know he has to be trimming players in practice, from what we saw in the preseason and his athleticism.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Absolutely

Coming off an off season with a serious shoulder injury, and playing the most minutes of anyone in the NBA, yes... Melo could use a breather.

Oh I forgot Murray's a rook that has no NBA pedigree backing him up. I bet HARDAWAY JR is trimming guys in practice too.

Vmart--why not scrap Amare until the 2nd part of the season. The first 40-50 he continues rehab so he can play 20 minutes a night and we will only have limited B-B he would mis. None of the playoffs are back to back. Scrap him the first 40-50 games let him continue rehab with the plan to bring him back later as an enhancement--someone will get hurt and well need him at the right time.

BRIGGS - excellent idea. If A ARod can go to the minors for rehab, Amare can go to the D-league to get whatever is left of his groove, back

you need playmakers in the backcourt not one-on-one players. the entire broadcast clyde was saying it is all one on one for the knicks.
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

This is not a rehab issue it's about getting into basketball playing shape in game shape. It's different, he needs work 20-30 minutes a game. I doubt scrapping him is going to help, you will deal with the same issue he is experiencing now only later. Briggs in game shape, the only way you get that is by playing.

I actually think we could/should start Murry. He showed all the indicators of being a capable and effective PG on the floor during the summer league and preseason. At this point, Felton looks woefully ineffective and has only been a marginal guard at best during his tenure here. I think he needs to come off the bench, manning Udrih's current role.

But that would reveal how stupid is was to sign Beno and Prigs when Murray who just came from a winning D-League franchise who won a Championship. Only Injuries would bring the rook from the bench over the other 3 puant gods.

dk7th - watching these Knicks struggle with ball movement and selfless play must drive Clyde crazy.

He can see it from court side and is probably holding back his honest critique due to management. Ray Charles can see it. Stevie Wonder can see it. It is not pretty.

We were out rebounded by the Charlotte Bobcats.

Kemba Walker should be dancing in The Garden.

With all the switching defense, Kemba pretty much lit the Knicks up like a Christmas tree. It didn't matter who was guarding him.

Kamba is not only a competitor, he has that rare quality that makes him a fit for New York. He is an entertainer.
