Allen Iverson
Carmello Anthony
Dominique Wilkins
Bernard King

Also if they don't have the ball in their hands how do they contribute ,or make their teammates better ?

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

You could say the same thing about Kidd, Stockton and Magic. Most great players need the ball in their hands in order to help their teams win.

WHAT ? Iverson is the only one who's position warrants the ball in his hands, the others are front court players.

Knicks need to build a Iverson Sixer like team around Melo and let him score 38PPG. Just get guys who defend, rebound and move the ball to Melo. Not Bargnani and Amare

They still need one more scorer but getting shooters/Defenders to surround him is the way to go. More guys like shumpert/Prigioni/metta.

His jump shot looks so smooth and he is so fast. He just needs to put it all together and he could definitely be a very good scorer.

he would have to take 50 shots per game to get 38 points..

the thing with guys like king is that he shot over 50% didn't need a ton of shots..

good luck with that....

It worked for iverson who was far less efficient. Not saying its the answer, but you can build a successful team that way.

I only say tha because it's easier than trying to play team ball with Melo. If Larry Brown was coach I think this is what he would go for instead of trying to turn Melo into something he is not. This way Melo gets his max money and we are still competitive

Wow I was hoping people were going to talk about Nique, Bernard along with Iverson and Melo.

Is the forum too young to remember ?

CARMELO NOT IVERSON

Iverson career 42.5% fg. Melo 45.6%. Melo also better career 3pt % and free throw %. Original point was if a successful team can be put around iverson's high volume scoring it can be done with Melo.
