Hell of an offseason JR. Guarantees a title then gets busted for violating drug policy. Trade him for a bag of chips, sorry SOB.

What a phucking loser...oh well, gives Shumpert more time to secure the 2 guard position.

Maybe the weed was for medicinal purposes? Ain't it legal in Jersey now?

What a douche.

It's too bad he is not suspended for the year so he can get out of Shumperts way completely

I keep hearing this excuse. Its not about the weed (should be legalized) its about getting himself possibly suspended. JR knew the risk and after everything he put this team through at the end of the season, he still found one more way to F up.

What's to stop NYK from bringing JR back early and using the 5 game suspension as rehab time? (Of course, still under the assumption JR is not ready for the start of the season)

Knicks are threading a fine line about becoming an Isiah like circus. With Artest should be interesting

he was talking to a bunch of little kids when he said that, stop using bs to further your agenda. I really don't care if he or any other baller smokes a bit in the off season. As long as he stays clean from training camp till the end of the post season.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

My God, you're still defending this AH. Exactly what does JR have to do for you to tear down those tiger beat posters? My agenda for this team is to sign players who don't torpedo us at the worst possible moments, who don't get suspended for stupid ish like this. If he can avoid testing positive, I don't care if he's the second coming of Peter Tosh, but he didn't, and you're still defending him.

The NBA will probably send over their own doctors to ensure that JR is truly healthy when the Knicks activate him to discourage any foul play.

No one is defending him, its a small issue (in my mind), don't really care about it but, that doesn't excuse you from using BS to further your hate agenda. I was calling out your use of his camp with the kiddies to try to made him look even dumber is weak....in the words of Marc Jackson...YOUR BETTER THAN THAT.

like I'm gonna hate on this dude for doing what I and plenty of posters here have done. Some probably do it on the regular.
