Some where along the line we dropped the ball again. When we trade a player or two we have to give up our draft picks. When another team trade their players they get draft picks. I took a good look at what the Nets did this summer and they cleaned our clocks. Here in New York is the Mecca of basketball and we can't seem to put a championship team on the floor. We over pay for everything we do. How could we have been so stupid to give Amare a deal like that knowing the shape his knees were in. Now we are screwed. Melo will opt out at the end of the season and if he grabs a max money with out trying to do the LeBron thing as to giving something back to help the team as him being the leader then I say let him go and we do what Boston is doing but Na we are too stupid to do that. I believe that New Yorkers are starting to say If you can't win with the team you love, then love the team across the bridge. The Knicks really have done nothing this season to really get better. We got Metta world peace at the end of his career. What happened to Chris Paul?? oh we got Tyson Chandler and over paid for a center who can't score who can't make a jump shot. I have not heard a word from the team leader Melo. Why wasn't he on the phones calling players to come to New York. If we had the players to trade for Rondo Boston still would not do business with us. They are rebuilding and they decided to give the Nets their top player to kick our ass until they are ready to do it again in a few years. I now believe that last season was it for us. In order for us to have a chance we must develop young players which the Knicks don't believe in. If the Nets kick ass this season the Knicks will become secondary and you will start seeing Knicks heads fans saying oh what the hell ain't no use the Knick ain't never gonna contend so let's go Nets. Dolan don't have a free pass anymore in New York. People are sick and tired of their bone headed moves and not being able to move at all and that's where we are at now. Come on a starting line up with Felton and Prigs and Shump?? or Bargs?? Who is that gonna beat. All Woody wants to do is shoot 3 pointers all day kiss JR's butt and we are not a good 3 point shooting team anyway.We just may be witnessing the Fall of the New York Knicks as the most popular team in the city. Hey I'm a New York Knicks die hard fan. But when I see a half ass team like this and we are pretending that we have something?? Come on now! Let's be real. We only have one big man 7 footer and we are running around chasing point guards instead of finding a big 7 footer who can shoot and defend. It's a big joke man. a big big joke.

Hey I understand that. And I was very happy about this season past. But seeing how our hands are tied this season and we can only snach crumbs and worry about a point guard and we only have one big man and he ain't that good. The Nets will hang us with their line up. I guess I was expecting a little more this summer in picking up pieces instead of crumbs.

The only difference for the Knicks between last year and this year regarding the offseason is this year the Knicks had a first round pick last year it was a second. Mmle was spent on prigs and meta, last year it was Kidd. The Knicks have had no flexibility since the new CBA was put in place and won't until 2015. The only thing they could have done differently would have been to use the amnesty in a different manner.

That is my take. The games will be played and we will see how things pan out on the court. I am not sold on the teams that are supposedly drastically improved...

I am not expecting a title for the Knicks, so, if not winning a title makes this team terrible then I guess to some it will be terrible.

I'm not hating I'm just vetting and a little annoyed that we are in this situation. Like I said we have not won a title in over 40 years. Since that time the Lakers won, the Bulls won, Boston won a championship. Why not us? The Mecca of Basketball. Maybe Dolan should be forced to sell the team. Knicks fans deserve better.
