This makes the D that much better having a rotation of CHandler and Kenyon working with Amar'e and Bargs.Agree. Kmart fits into the role Camby was supposed to have very well and he and Melo compliment each other nicely. Agree on the back to backs. Maybe he and Amare could each play one night as Amare apparently won't be playing in back to backs. I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18

![]() Phew! Great to have him back. Hope his knees hold up. Hmm so down to 3 spots, things are getting tight do we go for a PG plus Tyler/Jennings and Murry, or do we need another veteran front court player?

![]() Glad to see KMart back. I'm not worried about him being overused, given the depth on this team. I don't think anyone is going to have career high in minutes this year, except maybe Shump. Woody is gonna be able to rest guys much more this year. Lets not forget that we had a lot of guys go down last year and that put pressure on the remaining guys. This year we have younger guys so that shouldn't be as much of an issue.
Would love to see Tyler, Murry and Jennings added to the team. I just think those kids fit perfectly into what we do and are worth developing as future players on this team. I don't think we can afford B Brown. |

Maybe he and Amare could each play one night as Amare apparently won't be playing in back to backs. I think he is a little different than Camby. Camby a better rebounder by far and he also free lances on D to chase boards and blocks. Kenyon stays with in the system but will occasionally chase blks but not to the extent of Camby. Offensively hey are about the same. Every jumper is found money but of course Martin is a little more spry but both are intelligent players that move to open spaces and pass the ball well. Martin doesn't get credit with how smart he is, imo. The little things he does in the PnR game to create passing lanes are hard to pick up on. If you look at Tyson and Martin play in the 1-4 out system you see subtle nuances to Martins game that Tyson sometimes doesn't display. Tyson is still one of the best screen and rollers in the game though. |

![]() Also, Martin has not played more than 60 games since 08-09. SO again they have to be smart about using him. However the last two years were not due to injuries.
If Tyler does make it, then he has two models of what he can do to stick around in this league. Hopefully he can expand his game more than the Ty and Martin but just being an energy guy who sets screens, finish, plays D, and rebound will carry you a long way. |

![]() Happy KMART is coming back since he played well last year. Hopefully he can make it through a whole year because we will need him to play as good as he did last year. We still need another decent big man to back up tyson

![]() Excellent signing. Gives us more toughness and vet experience. And KMart is the only player I know that intimidates Garnett.
NixLuva - I also would like to see Tyler and Murry signed and then we have 1 spot open for whomever. The difference between fiction and reality? Fiction has to make sense.

KMart and MWP will really change the toughness on this team. We have a lot of guys that are gonna feed off that toughness. I think about how West changed the attitude of the Pacers and we might get a similar boost from KMart and MWP. I think adding Tyler and Murry will allow the Knicks to put a really young and athletic group on the floor when we need that. We used to have a young, high energy group off the bench and I can see that being an option this year. Run them out there to put on the full court press and really get after people. Tyler, THJ, Murry, Shump and CJ Leslie. |

I'll trust Grunwald's decision on a 3rd PG (whether it be Brown, Murry, whoever), but I'm excited. If we fill out with our SL kids, 1-15 on the roster will be rotation guys or prospects. No James Whites or QRich taking up space. Here's hoping one or two of the summer guys turn out to be another gem. |
