Just professing my admiration for Sam Dalembert...I think he is better than Tyson if he became a Knick we could entertain trading Tyson's 14 mill contract....

It makes me think sometimes, if there is a offer for Tyson Chandler like a large trade exemption and 1 maybe 2 2nd round picks Maybe, just maybe, he really does have something creative up his sleeve, and lets not forget he still has yet to use the 3m we could use every year in potential trades |

EnySpree wrote:the truth is if Dalembert played 33 mins per his numbers would be similar to Tysons....better actually if you count his blocks and ability to finish in the paint with something other than a dunk. and a jumpshot Similar yes maybe but can he play 30 minutes? I think he is a back up and a very good back up but I want to know why he was put on the shelf, especially when he puts up good numbers. |

With the Bucks they were playing the youth and the guys ahead of him that made more money....he got screwed cuz he dropped 35pts one game for them then started 4 games with great numbers and then back to the bench...no explaination. it would be fantastic if the knicks could flip Tyson and get 1 rotation player and a trade exempton or 2 rotation players...we'd be stacked and will be better off with Dalembert at center...Bargs could play some center and so can Amare. #knickstape Subscribe to my Podcast https://youtube.com/c/DiehardknicksPodcast

EnySpree wrote:makes you wonder cuz the initial signing of Tyson was out of no where....the Felton trade was out of no where....Signing Smith, Kmart...Bargnani for Christ sakes.... Ha ha ha! Oh come on, this Tyson hate is getting beyond ridiculous! Gerald Wallace is THE WORST CONTRACT in the nba- 3 years and $30mil means its longer than Amar'es. Seriously, that's what you honestly think Tysons value is?! Because he stunk in the playoffs following illness and injury?! Also think people are way over valuing Dalembert- why do you think no team has signed him yet? His stats have always looked great but fans of every team that he's played for despise him- go ask 76er fans. His value right now is a maximum of $3mil per season. He had a shot at signing for the HEAT and becoming their starting center for the MLE a year or two ago, but seemed to think he was worth more (he wasn't). Last I read mavs were interested- I think they've nearly spent all their money so maybe he gets $2.5-$3mil. Likely Grunnie can see the money is drying up so he thought he'd give it a shot. Not going to happen though. Tyson for Gerald Wallace... sheesh, ridiculous! Do you really believe that?! |

Hey smackdog
I posted that trade idea knowing it would get killed. "do you really believe that?" Get Ira here with that. As far as dalembert, i stated how i felt about it so no need to repeat what i said in an earlier post. Here's something new.....i wonder what bobcat fats think of Tyson Chandler? He played like **** for them the one year he was there. They immediately got rid of him and then he catches fire in Dallas. Please bro. The proof is in the tape...dalembert is a better player than Tyson. Just like Tyson the dude needs a chance to prove himself. Subscribe to my Podcast https://youtube.com/c/DiehardknicksPodcast

By the way, this rumor is based on Zwerling spotting Dalembert's agent and Grunnie talking. However another client of his agent is FA PG Ben Udrih- more likely Grunnie was inquiring about him.

And I really don't know what it is- I know Sixer fans hated him, but I'm not entirely sure why. On paper he looks like a great back up C, but I find it strange that he hasn't been able to land a good contract for a few years and has struggled to get big minutes. Anyways he likely goes to the mavs- they can offer him $3mil and a lot of minutes. |
