They are awesome in the middle---I cant see many teams matching their overall firepower. They have the best frontcourt in basketball and its not close. They have a superstar PG they have Johnson Pierce. I have to give them credit--they may have starphucked by they somehow spread it out much better than we did.

Yeah, it will be a long summer, but Brooklyn made a great short term move. They should definitely beat us out in our division. They'll be at least one of the teams to beat this season and the next barring injuries. After that, they're done.

Yes they now have a legitimate chance but those 2016 and 2018 picks may prove to be very costly although people will forget if they win the title

We are already done, no need to bar anything either.

We were toast during the 18-5 run that got the Knicks to the playoffs and kept the Knicks from sending a lottery pick to the Rockets in 2012 remember. Sig?

Will they keep Andray Blatche because he was actually more productive then Garnett per minute last season. People might laugh but he was 1 of the most productive bigs in the NBA.

Everyone thought the Lakers were a lock when they added "The Glove" and "The Mailman"...They thought the Lakers were unbeatable when they added Nash and DHow..Somehow u still have to play the games...It's not an old man's league, it's a young man's league...Lets see how they look after 82 games and a year older..

They looked really old last year...

I don't think they are truly that much better. In fact, some of it is more lateral than anything else.

How much does Pierce have in the tank? Will Garnett be better than he was last season...if not they will miss (I hate to say this) Chris Humphries.

Lopez had a bent screw replaced in his foot....will the foot be ok all season.

I think they have added more question marks than answers or exclamation marks.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

the nets had to make this move.. it obviously all depends on how much kg/pierce have left in them. kidd is going to have a hell of a time trying to get all these guys shots. you think deron is going to want to lose shots to anyone? how do you keep everyone happy offensively, that'll be the biggest question.

Every year that team is going to get slower. And a big part of their success is going to depend on Lopez' foot. Garnett and Pierce have to stay healthy which is a big if.
Would be sort of a slap to our managements face though, if they are good. We really should have done more in this draft...

They got Mason Plumlee, if they keep him can develop. They lose Reggie Evans.

Losing three picks? On paper sounds bad but I don't know if they might have other picks. Could be they can make trades to get others?

I Doubt a knicks site will be objective on the Nets. Thing about Pierce and Garnett is their Salaries will come off the books and that creates space. Space and players can be used to get picks and players down the road.

I think they have some trades to still make and could be some of their Euro collection could be moved.

Don't fret about the knicks, this was not their draft to make waves.

They have no athletes in there starting 5, the league is playing mostly small ball.

Your going to start jj, pp ,kg and lopez...that team looks slow as fck..most teams are going to run them out of the building..

They are not going to miss Humphries. He got buried last season playing only 18mpg in only 65 games without being injured.

No way LOL.

I had to laugh at this. KG and PP have one foot into retirement....Now they're all the sudden going to beat the Heat?

Laughable.

For having one foot into retirement we sure had a hard time beating them this playoffs and that was with no rondo. Melo can not guard KG so we now need to find a good PF that can score and is decent on D. Tyson owned Brook his first year with the Knicks but since then brook has turned that around. KG and PP will up the nets overall D as well. I just don't see how we can beat this with the way the Knicks are currently built without the old guys on the nets getting hurt.

The Brooklyn Nets can beat the Heat
