and they had no pick. They spent some cash and got a player that was undervalued in this zonker of a draft. There are a handful of undrafted players who will make the NBA.

James Enni, who played two seasons at Long Beach State, averaging 13.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists. I don't know how anyone can say he's better than Tim Hardaway Jr. lmao. We did a solid job with this pick. Maybe we can pick up someone like Kabongo as free agent and move on to the sumer league.

He shot 50% FG 84% FT and avg 16.5 points 7 rebounds
and is a much better defender longer player and was picked 50

He played for Long Beach State, I can't even begin to tell you what those stats you gave even mean.

What are you talking about? Walsh made good picks here and was always active on draft night.

Walsh was asleep in 2008

Walsh drafted Hill in 2009 and spent $3mil cash giving up a 2011 2nd for Toney Douglas

Walsh in 2010 drafted Fields and Rottens

Walsh in 2011 drafted Shumpert and paid $1mil for Jerome Jordan

Please elaborate what was great about what he did drafting wise?

So what. At least Hill is a respectable player in the NBA who can rebound. Where is our rebounding forward? What do we have to show for after trading 3 first round picks (including 2014 and 2016)? What are we going to do to build this team? We're a 5th seed that's stuck in the quick sand. We're sinking quickly and unless we make a big move to contend then the Melo Era is going to be a failure.

Briggs, maybe this quote from Tim Sr will help to address your concerns -

“Tim sacrificed his game for his team,” Hardaway Sr. said. “If he didn’t sacrifice, Michigan wouldn’t have been in the final game of the season. His talent will speak for itself on the next level. Now everybody understands the game already. His ability is going to come out a lot better than it did in college.”

The Knicks can't spend any money on a transaction until July 1. You can criticize the transactions they used money on but there was no money for them to buy a pick. Every team is allotted 3mil annually and the Knicks already spent it.

Hill and an unprotected 2012 pick equals the cap space to sign amare.

Somehow on this board its okay to use lottery picks in trades to maybe land FA's but to use them in trades to get players is looked down on

It was the cap space used to sign 2 max free agents. One being LeBron James. It was a worthy gamble for a pathetic franchise like the Knicks. It didn't quite work the way we wanted it to but I make that move 10 times over to have a shot at LeBron.

I dont have a problem with Hardaway Jr. People forget that this was a weak draft with mosty role players esoecially at 24.
Miami Heat drafted a player thats better than the one we drafted
