huh? im new to this? what are the rules ?
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Hey Ned, since you are playing GM for The Cav's, would you give up one of your early 2nd round picks for Copeland?
Is that even reasonable?
If not, what about a trade a future 2nd round pick, for 2014 since we won't have any pick's besides Okc's 2nd rounder
Considering if the Knick's can't make a deal to trade Copeland, if Copeland sign's a deal over 3m, he is gone and the Knick's can't match
If it is for over 1m - 3m, it MUST come out of their MLE if they decide to match

Rumor has it that they are dangling #1 pick of this draft and more for Kevin Love, which would make sense for FIT on the court and endorsements *Uncle Drew and Love*
With Love and Varejo they are have the ability to grab 20 + rebounds and would fit in very well with Irving's ability to penetrate/finish
While Copeland is far from Love, he would still be a cheap option for a stretch 4/5, and would be tough to defend with both Love/Copeland at PF/C camping outside/with the ability to post and also with Irving penetrating

I am thinking of creative ways to add talent for Grunwald, but I honestly don't see much options outside trading Chandler for the salary cap relief and multiple 2nd round picks
While I would prefer the 1st round pick, I just don't see the Blazer's giving up a lotto pick for Chandler considering his contract is 14m per year for 2 more seasons
Was also thinking about our pick 24 and Copeland for picks 30, 33, and 2 future 2nd round picks/one being for next year, and a trade exemption

(can i do that? trade?)

the cavs have a bunch of SFs...i wouldnt add more...i think they actually have some talent, they just need better coaching...if you remember they often had BIG leads on teams (including our knicks and the heat) but blew them

Kyrie
Waiters
Gee
Thompson
Varejao
------------
PG (------)
SG Ellington
SF Miles
PF Speights
C Zeller

If Im the cavs, Id invest in a PG since Kyrie is injury prone. Id also try and trade some of these picks for solid vets since the roster is too young. Copeland was a nice story but even though hes advanced in age, he was still a rookie and could go thru a soph slump once the league figures him out. If Im the Cavs GM, id see if i could get more than that. Im also 30mil UNDER the cap, so i can do better than copeland. good offer and its probably fair but id see what else is out there first

No rules per se. Just make the best pick you can for your team from your own prospective. We've never done trading--that gets to involved.

In the past users have put a description of who and why they picked a particular player, it'll be easy to catch on.

Right make the pick and if you want describe why you made it why the player fits what you think he will do etc. Why dont you take a team martin--if not really interested just take a second rounder or something.

OKC has three of the top 32 picks.

They also have Jeremy Lamb.

They can draft for current need, draft a project and Draft a euro and stash.

Roy Hibbert is a star now at age 26. Takes time often to develope a big.

In MSG we'd have run him out by now.

Not saying JaVale McGee will be as good, but denver sees him as a project.

When you plant seeds you grow assets.
