Knicks need a young PG to pair with Shumpert.

I know you guys are going to hate it but the best attainable PG available this summer is Brandon Jennings. Regardless of some how you feel about him he is an immediate upgrade to our PG situation. The guy is streaky but his PG skills are on point as exhibited by his high assist totals when playing with people who can actually score. He also dribbles with his head up. I also think he could handle the pressure of playing in NYC.

- were 20mill over the cap, so we cant sign any big free agents
- we only have one 3mill midlevel exception
- here are a list of players that (i think) would sign in the 3mil range

PG AJ price/jose calderon
SG gary neal/randy foye
SF martell webster/anthony tolivver/matt barnes/dorell wright
PF dante cunningham/ivan johnson/Dejuan blair
C Sam dalembert

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

I think this is ageism. I think we should try an older PG. Get Clyde out there. I'd rather watch him play than announce the game. And I think he'd do it too.

I am starting to think the Knicks either take a point or a big in the draft. Can't wait for those rumors to start.
I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18

Look at the age of the PG's on other teams?

Deron Williams and Chris Paul would be nice but we arent getting those guys.

Nah I disagree I think Jennings is trash. He's a better version of Toney Douglas.

Well, if we're not going to contend for a championship, we might as well have comedic/entertainment value. Let's hope the Bucks don't extend a QO and let's go for it!

How do you want Brandon Jennings but not Rajon Rondo?

As for Jennings, I have no idea how to feel about him. I'm put off by his shooting percentage but a lot of that is a byproduct of the Bucks kicking it to him with 5 seconds on the clock and him having to create a shot in that period of time. Because of that I have no idea of what kind of shooter he is or can truly be if put on a real team. I also don't care for his turnovers but that happens with any quality PG, so I can't judge him too harshly for it. At this point, we need a guy who can consistently get into the paint and kick to the open man which Jennings does in spades so maybe we should role the dice on a sign and trade. Personally, I'd prefer Rondo and would try to orchestra 3 team deal sending Jennings and filler to BOS for Rondo.

Not a bad list. I'm not sure all of them would take 3 mill but some would. I want us to grab a guy that can make some plays occasionally, not just another spot up shooter, we have enough of them.

Smart Money Says....

"I hate that I really value efficiency. Because I look around the league sometimes and I see a guy shooting 41, 42 percent from the field and I'm like, 'Wow, they're just hoisting up shots and they don't care.' I guess that's that freedom, but I don't have that mindset. I want to be as efficient as possible."

39 PACENT.....NO!

He's awful! That game, several years ago where he scored a lot of points in his rookie year seems to have fooled people into thinking he's a great PG. He's not- bad skills, bad game, low bball IQ and lousy attitude. No thanks.

We need a Tashwan Taylor type, a second round guy with low cost and develop. Not everyone has to be a "brand name" proven commodity (aka: OLD!) somtimes. Fewer starphuch names.

Players with upside. Young legs.

You have no idea what you are talking about.

Bucks made the playoffs while the Sixer's and alot of other teams didnt. Hhhmmmmmm. I wonder why.

Jennings is no Chris Paul but he is above average for sure.

Jennings is definitely better than Felton but I question his BBall IQ and leadership skills. Not sure if he is worth the headache.

They only qualified for the playoffs, because the other eastern teams were so bad- they were terrible down the stretch and didn't deserve to make the playoffs. 38-44 record is an achievement nowadays and the mark of a good player? Really?
