Tyson Chandler + pick 24 to OKC

for Perkins Lamb and picks 12 and 29

Tyson is a big upgrade for them at C--he averages 9 points more(which should put them over the top--and in their offense he might even get a few more) Perkins is their weak line--they move up 5 spots on their 2nd 1 pick

We take on Perkins as a back up 5 and with Lamb picks 12 and 29 either set ourselves up in the future to get another YOUNG star or just refurbish our current roster with some younger players that can step in right away + also provide a base for the future

OKC didn't want to pay Harden 15 million. They aren't going to pay Chandler 15 million.

Contracts =out Perkins 8.5 Lamb 2.2 draft pick 12 2.4 ==13.1 they stay well under the 70mm $ threshold

Forget about Martin. He needs to be paid.

Put Chandler on that team and how do they look?

Perkins 3 pts 6 rebounds Tyson 10 points 10 rebounds thats +7 and 4 enough to put5 them back over the top. Perkins as been brutal. I dont think Cahndler is a great fit here--but he would be perfect there. were getting pick 12 and Lamb(both of which have not played in the NBA) they move up 5 spots on the other 1.

I don't want anything do with Perkins, dude looked washed up all season. And I don't think OKC's going to give up Lamb and two first rounders for Chandler. What about Denver in a trade involving Javale McGee?

DID you just say Perkins. That is beyond terrible trade. Only way that trade makes sense if its a 3 way with the blazers and the knicks get Leonard and a draft pick.

I realize you do not like the knicks now but really. They would jump over backwards to get rid of Perkins who some how manage to have an even worst playoffs than last year. The guys is awful basketball player.

I know you probably want the center from Gonz. but not by taking back Perkins terrible contract. I thought of it too but only if a third team is involved.

OKC can amnesty Perkins, they don't need to pay a premium to get rid of him.

chandler on that team doesn't make they anymore of a title contender than they are now Briggs.. jeez.. you are asking to get lamb who was a lottery pick, and the 12th pick in the draft? come on briggs... you act as if okc gm doesn't watch any knick games...

not at the expense of lamb and the 12th pick... why would they do that for chandler? let me ask you this... would you trade pick 12 and 29 and lamb for chandler... now remember you are GM of okc not a knick fan here....

Yeah I don't think OKC has the owners that would eat the money but if they do they need too. I asked this on the PErkins thread: I wonder how Gortat would look with Ibaka?

Honestly, yes but I would keep the 29th pick. Seriously, Tyson is so much of an upgrade it is crazy.

Not really liking this one Briggs --- Perkin's has been awful this post season. Not sure netting Lamb and basically the #12 pick is worth it.

Another thought would be to move Chandler & Shumpert to LAC for D. Jordan & E. Bledsoe --- we get much younger with Jordan and he still has some potential upside. I don't think we get these guys without including Shump. Bledsoe gives us a starting caliber point guard --- Iman's loss at the 2 is offset by resigning JR and playing Ray at the SG position more often. Sign vet SF for minimum deal -- (Stephen Jackson?)and draft Withey at #24 to beef up our size for the playoffs (or another BIG with promise).

Start.... Bledsoe, Felton, S. Jackson(?), Melo & Jordan

Prigs, JR, Cope, Stat, Withey -- maybe KMART for vet minimum again as extra big....also Kidd may still be around.

With this move we get 3 young players -- Bledsoe, Jordan and Withey. Gives us 3 quality PGs (Bledsoe, Felton, Prigs).

tkf--A big part of a problem OKC has now is Perkins and his 8.5mm for the next two years. Moving that contract and that player for a very nice upgrade would be significant. Lets be fair Tyson is a BIG upgrade over Perkins.. They can move Jackson to 6th man and let Martin walk.

tyson chandler has not been playing well here briggs, of late, OKC does not need chandler.. not at the expense of what you are asking.. if you think lamb is a future stud, well then so does OKC... why would they make this move? come on man..
