Not sure who that will be but Kurt and his gutsy play got the Knicks back on track when they were struggling in March. Maybe Camby gets in and plays through his plantar issue or Tyson throws back the clock to pre-bulging disk Tyson for a night. Maybe Kidd hits 4 three pointers. Something has to give and someone needs to step up.

That's ridiculous. If this team isn't inspired enough by playing in the 2nd round with the chance to advance further then we don't deserve to win at all.
Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

Agreed. That might make for a nice story but the team just needs to play hard and take good shots.

We need someone to actually come to play offensively.

Kidd needs to have a OKC breakout game.. Preferably as soon as possible. It's frustrating because if even just one of the guys playing awful plays well, we'd be in every game. I can't believe that all of them have decided to play bad now

Copeland has the best chances to play this role, especially at C where he was coming in to a zone till Woodson bannished him to the bench instead of building on momentum and his confidence for the play offs

Amare has a chance if he got back to shape but it is a process they will take at minimum 3-4weeks to get back in NBA shape
I think he should play 5-7minutes a game, maybe even less, till he gets there, he should not be getting the minutes after not playing for 3months instantly to get in shape at the cost of the play offs expense

I think it is a big slap to COPELAND's face with the way he was playing and working hard on DEF during our season winning streak
He has produced on a high level and Amare get's PT instantly as he still sucks defensively/rebounding and is in poor shape

Camby has the ability but Woodson must see production in limited minutes before giving him that chance
I seriously doubt it is just the plantar facilites that is keeping him from playing, Woodson just is just stubborn and loyal to players like Tyson/Kidd even when they are NOT producing
Camby and Martin together would form our best PF/C shot blocking/rebounding combo with the ability to help one another and HELP EVERYONE with TEAM DEFENSE
Tyson has not been there for many months, whether it is his back/disc or if he is just missing some of that intensity he had last season
I think Lin, made Tyson effective by running the PnR with him and he played harder on both ends because of it with more touches to keep him active instead of ISO ball

Copeland played so well down the stretch that its been a shock he hasn't played much at all in the playoffs.

Novak and Copeland are two guys who can make a big difference because the Knicks need someone who can knock down a jump shot.

22 assists would be a nice start.

It is a team thing.

the regular season is not the playoffs.

Copeland is no savior. Nor is Novak.

Well, one of those two (or maybe Camby) might get a shot as K-Mart caught JR's flu- has sat out practice Sunday and today. Also it might be Q-Bricks chance to shine as Iman sat out practice with a sore knee, and JR might not be fully recovered from the flu by Tuesday...

This team is full of excuses. Bulging disk, Knee surgery, dislocated shoulder, old age, drinking and partying problem. I can understand losing but the lack of effort on their part is awful. They played so hard all season and to lose because of lack of effort is mind boggling.

If you can make a jump shot, it doesn't matter whether its the regular season or playoffs. Team can't score, makes sense to put in some scorers. They have 2 guys playing major minutes that didn't even score a point in 2 out of the 3 games.

If Quentin Richardson gets major minutes you might as well call it a season.

POst this to the chaulkboard for inspiration:

Reported JR was asked to go out last nite to a private Indy club in which he was going to be paid to appear.

JR said: "IM tired and just gonna chill at the hotel"!

Makes you wanna run thru walls now! Im so freaking pumped! Thats why some guys become champs!

Yeah! Go knicks!!!

I agree with this Barron needs to play. He is an excellent rebounder and can pull Hibbert away from the rim on offense.
