It's amazing how 1 game means so much - we win and everyone will be talking about the Knicks evening up the series and showing their toughness. We lose and the criticism will reach fever pitch. We are not the only team in this situation - the Heat dropped game 1 too. We can win tonight, I have no doubt we are capable. I do wonder what's going on with Melo's shoulder though. An injury there is no joke, I have been battling a shoulder injury since January and I can tell you that it names you in your sleep, when you move, and when you sit. Let's hope its just a little aggravated and nothing serious. "If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just SUCK." Kenny Powers

Listening to the talks from our players and woody, no adjustments, just pray melo and jr take better shots, which sucks IMO. Can't have Tyson and kmart on the court together, that makes us a perimeter team. can't keep a 2g lineup, that makes us a very small team My suggestion give cope more time at PF/C, he needs to bring west or hibert outside the paint I hope Novak's playing more shump less prigs ES

![]() I suffered a Grade 3 ankle sprain last night in rec league, which was kind of funny because it happened right after I broke another guy's ankles with a silky smooth Croatian Crossover,
I went up and got absolutely hammered by two bigs; fell funny and knew immediately I was in trouble but I got up immediately and nailed both free throws, then I checked myself out and threw my sneaker across the gym Today I wake up, downgraded it to a Grade 2 sprain; I'm probably for May 13 game. Dropped 12 with 6 boards and 2 dimes in 2.5 quarters of action before injury. Knicks gotta do like I does-- beat Indy. Seriously though, glad it wasn't a grade 3 sprain- those look horrific with all the bruising. I had a grade 2 one once, it didn't hurt after a day or two but it took a lot longer than a week to heal. Good luck with the recovery! |

Yea it ballooned last night when I took my shoe off, I thought I was a goner at that point, but today I am walking with a slight limp but a lot better than I thought, we'll get through this, gang. I'm loading up on advil, fish oil and coconut oil; coconut oil just because. The Will, check out the Official Home of Will's GameDay Art: http://tinyurl.com/thewillgameday

![]() ESPN just put out there that the Knicks are 0-5 after losing game 1 at home in the playoffs. Time for that streak to end.
Last time they lost like that? 1995 against the Pacers - lost in 7. I feel like Amare would be huge for us right now if he was ready to play (I know he isn't). To have a big with his size and scoring ability would negate some of the issues we are having. Although the matador D would probably cancel out anything he contributed. ![]() Hopefully the crowd at the game doesn't start shouting these officials suck. You know they will swallow their whistles just in spite.

![]() The problem with Amar'e is that not only is his D going to be horrible after the long layoff, but it's going to take him a couple games to get his bearings on O. If we can put Indy away he'll be huge vs Miami. But for now Woody has to have a really short leash with him. I'd also appreciate a short leash on the 6th man. He's killing us.

![]() Must win game if we're going to maintain confidence in the series. Indy took a game on our court - I'm confident we can take one back on theirs. We owe them one.
Melo's talked about how the playoffs are a game of adjustments - let's see some of these adjustments tonight... |
