Better for my health. If the Knicks continue to be good and the sensitivity towards forum members diminish after a few good seasons I will come back and post. This just isnt a good time. This transition from laughing stock of the league for 13yrs to formiddable playoff team has bred too much animosity. Its not just about talking basketball anymore.

Anyway its been real. Made some great friends over the years. I will keep in touch

Go Knicks

Strange how the board became so polarised this season when it's been our best season in over a decade.

I think there were many people waiting the last ten years to say "I told you so!" and it's all come pouring out now.

Board has always been polarized. Some are just butt hurt that the Knicks are succeeding since the Melo trade and the firing of D'Antoni.

Lin, the Nuggets, and D'Antoni have gone fishing.

So you're just going to do an Eddy and quit on the team (forum) while we are making a run? It kills me that for years, us positive posters that predicted good things for the Knicks to later be wrong and have to hear the I told you so's from the negative posters. You negative guys get it thrown back at you for one year and you guys can't take it.

I bleed orange and blue for life.

Once the board acknowledges that I was right about everything (including that we should have signed courtney Lee and that Getting Camby back was huge), then peace will be restored

Thats part of the issue. I dont consider myself a negative poster. Just a fan who comments on what I see like everyone else and try to be realistic. This hater vs lover thing is not my thing. I dont go around labeling, generalizing and singling out others and dont appreciate it when it happens to me but to each its own. I will move on and just watch the knicks like I used to do pre-internet

Thats ridiculous. the most important thing for fans was that we had success in the playoffs. I dont care if we had melo jamal crawford or even marbury all i wanted was to play important games in may like we did in the 90's

realistic? You were talking about nba finals yesterday. you were talking about woodson bringing out a trump card against the heat. absolutely unrealistic. managing expectations is really important.

It's never a good day to be right or wrong. It is always a good day tone a Knicks fan, especiallyafter eliminating the Celtics.

Who announces their departure on the eve of the most exciting playoff series in the past decade?

The fun is just getting started

It's not like he announced that he's no longer a Knicks' fan. He just isn't enjoying the board.

I've felt like that in the past. Hopefully as the team advances there will be less antagonizing going on. We all want to see this team get to the ECF's and hopefully to the finals. The problem is that some are too eager to take any opportunity to pick at other posters rather than make valid points or observations. Things get a bit more into personal attacks rather than substantive posts about the team. That's when things get toxic and unbearable.
