We played scared after the first 6 minutes and Coach Woodson kept it tight. Were simply not moving the ball--not spreading the court and we have no one healthy on the roster who can score in the post. Carmelo Anthony has to be smarter with his shot selection--its pretty simple--if Carmelo doesnt get his fg% back to 45% in the next 2 games--were not going to win and we will go down in humiliation. This Celtic team is not very good---NOTHING compared to the next level of teams we must play. We havent been able to score all series---we played a great brand of basketball the last 20 and have gone away from it. I think someone said STFU in one of their posts and they were right--too many Knicks talking sht and not backing it up.

It's becoming a problem to have Kidd and Prigioni not even looking at the basket.

Moving the ball to who?

Team is heavily reliant on the 3 ball for scoring. Boston is closing out on our shooters.

So we have to rely on Melo to carry us like we did the last month of season. Celtics arent going to let that happen though and Melo has a defender draped over him 90% of the time.

This ain't on the coach, this is not executing the shots.

This is about being over confident.

JR comes at a discount for a reason.

Who ever said "max money" in the same sentence thinking he's a goner at that money does not understand his nature!

Ball stuck. Needed the ball to be in Pablos hands but he never saw the court in favor of JR

I just wish Woodson had gone deeper into the bench. It was clear the team needed some shaking up and it would have sent a message to the rest of the squad that if they aren't getting it done, he'll let someone else try. Playoff rotations are usually smaller but there is no reason to be doctrinaire.

Let Pablo make the decisions with the ball not JR and Melo. This is on Woodson as much as it is on those two one dimensional players

This game reminded me of game 7 in 94. John Starks was a major piece of the puzzle that year BUT its obvious he didnt have it that night. Same thing with JR. You can tell he didnt have it and yet woody never pulled him

Like Riley, Woodson made the mistake of thinking JR could shoot his way out of this one.

Prigioni and Kidd --other than steals have done sht this series. This is the last hurah for both of these guys. I think we need Shane Larkin who will give us more speed transition and 3 pt shooting and move Felton to 2G. Im not sure--all specualtive--but I cant see anything else from these guys--Prigioni is moving back to Europe and Jason Kidds last wind has sailed.

But ultimately as a coach you are as good as your star players are

JR Smith is the only other player who can reliably create their own shot and defend on the end.

Who was he supposed to play Richardson.

The coach is tight--wont chance putting Copeland in.

JR fcked up by getting suspended and not playing for 4-5 game days probably made him rusty. He started nailing 3's at the end but the damage was done.

Yes he did, should have been practicing instead of running his mouth. I also think JR folded under the pressure of having to back up all that bluster. Bad combination. Brought it on himself and the team.

That is why I wouldn't bring him back. I don't trust him he has way to many character flaws to be reliable.
