Curry has demonstrated more court awareness and maturity.

Carmelo has supreme talent, but his comprehension of spacing and angles is not as sophisticated.

Curry has unlimited range.

Carmelo can drive on anyone.

It's close.

curry is just a superior shooter. Few guys in the world can shoot like this Kid so, the Melo comparisons are crazy. As to his maturity, I think it's too early. Durant looked very mature and had that goody, goody image. Its a bit tarnished these days so, I'll hold off on that a bit. Guys look very mature until they do some dumb sh....

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Greatest post ever Anubis. you rock

He cited Beverly's ability to break down a defender, drive and kick and toughness.

Oh snap.

I don't see anything wrong with that. Beverly looks better than 85% of the NBA PGs. I have no idea if he keeps this up though.

I'm a Melo supporter, but I acknowledge a healthy Curry is just lethal on the basketball floor as soon as he crosses the halfcourt line.

No release is quicker in NBA History, apologies to Ray Allen.

It's that threat that also enables him to pass to open shooters and cutters as well, if a team were to cheat or double him.

Steph Curry, health permitting, may go down as the best pure shooter of any era.

Curry's abilities especially that behind the back dribble to a fadeaway 3, are transcendant. He gets better every year. Watching him at Davidson, you knew he could shoot. Who knew he could run the point as well!

Curry > Melo

And just think if we had actually done a better job of tanking in a worthless, meaningless season, we might have actually been able to draft Curry.

But, we went hard after every win, even though the plan all along was to clear cap and go for Lebron.

Maybe Lebron would have liked playing next to Steph Curry & whoever else (Amar'e ) we could have gotten.

two different players:

- Curry
great shooter and underrated passer
weakness: injury prone (bad ankles)

- Melo - great scorer (inside and out) and underrated rebounder
weakness: lazy at times

i think you can build a winning team around both players

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Ned - Carmelo is a lot of things but you gotta do better than "lazy" unless you have some evidence.

Too soon to tell. Lets see how his health hold out after 9 years in the league.

Sometimes not playing defense and jacking up unnessecary 3s is lazy. He gets lazy on the court misterearl. All things Knicks aren't peaches and cream.

I'm still happy to have him though. Over Curry though? This has yet to be determined. Curry is pretty sick.

I remember being pissed off every time we won a game. If there was ever a year to tank, that was one

I remember being pissed off every time an Isiah team won a game. Just the stench of that era makes me want to vomit. I hope we never have to go through that again.

Ahh yes, yet another flame out, look at that shiny new thing thread.

First we had: Gallo better than Melo.
than we had Lin better than Melo.
than we heard smatterings of Lee better than Melo
than we heard JKidd better than Melo

Now it's Curry the Kid better than Melo.

Coming soon: Is Nate better than Melo?

he's the flavor of the month, for certain. Curry is now a super duper star. Let's see him do it season after season... I hope he does because he's a joy to watch. Injury worries me more with a guy like Curry than it does like a guy like Melo

I like Curry, but I always feel his career could end at any minute due to his ankle problems. I wonder how many seasons he's going to last in this league.

Not a big Melo fan. Maybe it's because of the whole trade thing but Melo is a game changer more so than Curry. Curry you just need to put a long athletic 2 guard to stay with him the whole game and he should be neutralized or at least slowed down. With Melo, you will need to double and triple team which changes the game dynamics. You give Melo players that can hit an open shot or knows hot to cut to the basket and you are golden.
