That would take care of our need for a PG because we can pay him and LA would get something back.

I would think that th epricetag for Bledsoe would be higher but I would cosign on that trade yesterday

That's possible, but Bledsoe still has a season after this at a reasonable salary before he becomes a RFA. It would be silly for the Clips to do anything now.

What about the teams who have 23 picks before us many of whom are in a similar predicament.

MSG3 said it best Nuggets trade, nullifies the fairy tale, not in case we're getting a 1rst in return for that draft.


We have to think along the lines of the Jacks/Harris/Williams/Calderons/Udrichs/Douglas/Nates/Prices....a few of these guys whom I don't want on this team but this is more our market.

The Clippers are not going to give Bledsoe away for the 24th pick in a weak draft. Makes no sense.

I like what the nets are doing with Tayshawn Taylor. They are developing him.

No time for the future, knicks are a live for today team and as a fan IM not concerned about the future.

But, we can't trade the pick unless we are drafting for another team and trade the player later.

I would think that the reason teams in the lotto got there because they would consider something like using a top 3 pick on a backup point but maybe that's just me

Dude....we're 2nd in the East and in line for a nice run hopefully. Win now is in full effect. That doesn't mean you cant draft someone who you can groom for the future or for a trade.

The Knicks drafted guys like Charlie Ward and Hubert Davis when they were an elite team. Those guys were groomed and produced. Especially Ward. It's not impossible.

We could probably get Bledsoe if we traded Chandler and Shumpert for Deandre Jordan and Bledsoe. Problem is we are still stuck with Amare's contract for 2 seasons.

I think it would be something like Shumpert and 24 for Bledsoe and something else but I honestly have no idea if LAC has a need for Shump. I'm not an expert on their roster and CP3 has yet to say if he's resigning or not

I'd offer them Chandler and whoever they want at 24 for Bledsoe and Jordan, but the Clippers can't trade Bledsoe without a commitment from Chris Paul.

I see Bledsoe the athlete but I would have thought he could run the offense similar to Paul. It doesn't look like he knows how to run a team.

Also, how good of a shooter is he?
