No, we weren't supposed to beat the Grizz...no we can't beat the C's...no we can't beat the Heat, either....we shall see...
Predictions:
If we win, it's a meaningless regular season game the conf champ Heat didn't care about.
If we lose, our streak was a faked pile of crap built on the dried remains of wasted teams and this team shouldn't be in any serious 'scussion.
Or both.

A third win vs the heat would give us a nice psychological edge over them come playoff time. Tyson's possible return concerns me, as usually a team that has been playing well loses when a significant player returns from injury. I still feel like we could have beaten the heat in the last game we played against them. If we can beat them again, then we should go into the playoffs confident if we face them- last year we looked scared.

Mario Chalmers “shocked” by Ray Felton’s comments
by Ethan J. Skolnick

Danny Ainge’s comments about LeBron James got the most attention this week, especially when Pat Riley responded in a rather direct, pointed and R-rated way.

But there were other comments — from another Heat rival — that were noticed and discussed by several Heat players.

In an interview with ESPNNewYork.com last Thursday, Knicks point guard Raymond Felton spoke confidently of his team’s prospects against the Heat in the postseason.

“We’re definitely one of the teams who gave Miami the most fits this year, so if we get the opportunity to play them in the [Eastern Conference] finals, then I kinda like our chances. I love our chances, actually.”

He also said this, to back up his view that the Knicks give the Heat “a matchup problem.”:

“I’m not just saying that just because I’m a New York Knick and just being biased,” he said. “I just feel like we really cause matchup problems for them offensively, and then we match up well with them defensively. Like I said, I like our chances. Right now, we’re winning the [season] series and we’ve got one more game left. So we’ll see what happens.”

That fourth and final regular season meeting is Tuesday in Miami.

Felton wasn’t done.

This was his response to a question about whether point guard is a weak spot for the Heat:

“I’m not saying that’s a weak point [for the Heat] because [Mario] Chalmers has been great for Miami. He’s won a championship there and he’s a solid point guard,. But I think that’s one of the weaknesses of their team. Not saying that Chalmers is a bad player, because he’s not. He’s great. He’s won a championship. A lot of point guards in this league can’t say that. He has that. But if you look at LeBron, Bosh and D-Wade and then you look at Chalmers, you’re like, ‘OK, this is maybe where their weakness is at.’”

Prior to Sunday’s Heat game in San Antonio, which Chalmers missed with a sore right ankle, I asked if he had seen Felton’s comments. He nodded. Did he think it was odd to read something like that?:

“I don’t think I’ve got everybody’s respect. I’m still working on that. But everybody’s entitled to how they feel.”

So, after a championship — and a second straight strong NBA Finals — what is it going to take?

“Who knows? Who knows? I mean, people are going to say whatever. The only thing that matters to me is I’ve got my teammates’ respect, my coaches’ respect, and I know what I can do.”

How did he find out about what Felton said?

“I was actually on Twitter, and somebody tweeted it to me. That was the first time I’ve seen it.”

Does he know Felton?

“I know him pretty well.”

Surprised?

“I”m a little shocked about that comment.”

And what about so many opponents talking about the Heat?

“We didn’t start it but we’re gonna finish it.”

Felton and the Knicks play in Miami on Tuesday.

Now go out and back your lip service up felton??

I think Chalmers really does delude himself into thinking he's some sort of fantastic point guard- didn't he say he was a top 10 PG lately? What Felton said was 100% correct, though unfortunately we like to induldge scrubs, so Chalmers will probably have a career game vs us...

Obviously, God was pleased. And luck is for losers. God runs the lottery, too, in case you haven't heard that.

ESPN is reporting that Bosh may be the only one of the Big Three to play against us. Your boy LebbyJ has a hammy and Wade is nursing an ankle. Chalmers is supposedly going to be out, too.

Let the whining begin.

that same squad minus wade, bron and chalmers was able to beat the spurs in san an..with indi hot on our trail, any win is a good win..But I really want us in 3rd place anyways. if we make it into the 2nd round, there's a good chance of having our bigs back..

A healthy knicks team can challenge any team in the NBA home or abroad
