THE FOUL CALLS! POINT BLANK THE FOUL CALLS!
I watched every game when Dwayne Wade and the Heat played the Maverick in thier first championship game and the Heat won. The refs were calling everything in Wades favor. Phantom fouls that no one could see. I thought the Mavericks won the 7 game series. They gave it to Wade.

I fear that we won't get the calls. Melo or Smith won't get the foul calls in the game. Playing the Heat we must play them like Chicago played them. It's OK for the Heat to play hard and slap and hit and they hardly get called for it. If this happens I believe our team will get flustrated and make mistakes and let the games slip away.
Our only hope will be if Sheed comes back and all of our bigs are back and dare any one to drive inside on us. We make them pay just like the old Knicks in the 90s. Stop the run because LeBron or Wade will be running and thats why we must get lots of offensive rebounds.
But if the refs kiss LeBron and Wades butt we will have a very little chance of winning.
Look it's going to be the Knicks and the Heat playing for the East Championship to go to the finals. You can bet on that.

That's why we need them in the ECF after they have been worn down a little. We do not want them in the first round like last year. The Heat are no joke. I am hoping the Knicks are doing some strategic resting and the injuries aren't as serious as they sound, but then again when has stuff like that gone our way?

It's a given, but we now have 2 legit threats on the team that can put the opposition into foul trouble. The refs can only get away with a certain amount before it becomes obvious, even when it comes to Miami. If we play D and move the ball we can win.

We also have a lot of bodies that can give fouls and a few good minutes. Question is - who will be healthy?

If i had to choose our fear in the playoffs, it would be that everyone gets injured.

We got a lot of fouls to give.

If you breathed on Jordan he went to the line.

If you want to beat the champ, you have to go further.

its always been that way.

“I’m not worried about them,” J.R. Smith said of the Heat. “I’m just trying to get the win against Boston.”

If we are going to get whistled, we should get our money worth and hit them hard, this is our only chance. Heat aren't comfortable with the rough house

Whoever faces them in the first round will get shafted by the refs in the first game, just like we did. Of course we weren't going to beat them that game anyways, which just makes the ridiculously one-sided reffing even more annoying.

Also pray you don't get that Ed Malloy- worst ref in the game (and has been officially told off about 3 times by the league this season for getting end of game calls wrong)

Even if we face them in a later round, we're going to be very very vulnerable to the way the ref's are calling it- we've seen it a few times this season- as soon as the ref's start calling everything on us and nothing on the opposing team, we lose our composure, pick up technicals and get outscored by 20-30 points.

Thats why im not just worried about the refs during a heat series but during any series we get.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Fellas don't think all the time refs miss calls that you and I see clearly even on replay and don't get too angry when we see games like this or when we played against Memphis earlier in the season.

It's how the league is run no matter if Donaghy is there or not.

This is one of the reasons why M.J said the game is 90% mental, because in the heat of the battle the refs can take you out of your game and help make you blow a gasket and make you play timid on the court. The refs can change the momentum of games so easy in the heat of the battle, the finals with Dallas and Miami almost made me not watch basketball again unless the knicks were playing.

Donaghy is pure crap convict.

I don't doubt the league's refs are pure as virgins but the excerpts don't back up any of his facts and its easy to in hindsight recreate a scenario.

They guy needed to write a book and this man has no cred EVEN IF HIS STORIES ARE LEGIT!

Bottom line is the league, like all leagues in prosports will maintain some competitive balance and the defending champs usually get better calls, just like the defending champs before them, and the ones before them! Its part of overcoming!

Lebron lost two finals prior, if the league really wanted him as champ could they not have figured it out?

Jordan got looked at by any player he went to the line. Did it help? Of course, and thats why you have to be even that much better to beat the champs!

Even if he is a crap convict, the games highlighted are clear examples of weird/suspicious officiating. And it sucks so hard that star treatment is accepted these days.

All this reminds me of the Italian soccer league.

LeDouchay could win 50 rings and anyone comparing him to MJ should be ashamed of themselves. MJ got the calls, Pippen walked through the league, but they never resorted to punkazz tampon moves like what you see above. That's a true legacy to proud of.

somethin tells me that we wont even be facing the heat in the playoffs
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better
