With Henderson and Bullens looking for their payday it will be interesting to see if they sign them for long term or trade them for assetsChandler is final piece you add to contend for a championship or at least to a team that is contending already, not a rebuilding team
For that reason I just can't see them giving up a lottery pick for a player that will not be happy there in Charlotte and will leave in 2 years
At the very least, I would expect to either part with Iman Shumpert and/or take back a HORRIBLE contract in Tyrus Thomas with Gordon for them to consider it
Agree. Also, Mullens has been playing well and looks like a keeper. They also have Bismack.
Bullens will get payed by somebody for his potential, my point is if Charlotte does intend to keep Mullens, it will be unlikely that they would take back Tyson Chandler because it would put them over the cap
Mullens will be looking at 7-10m per year, somewhere between Ryan Anderson/Ilyasova type money, but most likely will get less
Henderson has been one of the more consistent players but will be also looking for a contract as well
McRoberts has been playing many minutes for the Bobcats recently and might be a in their plans as a short term PF
He will be probably looking at vet min to 2 to under 3m a year with this new CBA
I think the Bobcats would keep whoever is going to be cap friendly while trying to get back assets in return, like almost every team in the league, they all have their eyes on the FA class of 2015, and will not over pay long term for players that are not worth jeapordizing..
Tyson Chandler does fit this description since his contract expires but he will not be happy going to a rebuilding team at this point of his career and Bobcats know that
If he can accept it and the Knick's take back Tyrus Thomas's contract, I would more back than a 1st rounder, maybe 2 total 1st rounders, or at least 2 more 2nd round picks....
They already have Brandan Haywood at 2m per year for the next 3 years
