This is to all the posters on this forum. Dolan can blow up this team and when the dust clears Melo will still be standing. Dolan will not let him go. Sooo here is the plan and you can dispute me but you know I'm right. Now Amare's Contract will be up in 2 years. Anyone who we get by way of trade or just signing MUST BE A TWO WAY PLAYER They must be fast and very athletic and can shoot the rock.We must get a top tier point guard in the draft. Buy draft picks and keep Shrump. When Amare's contract is up get another real superstar or 2 stars for the price of one. Get what we can get by trading Felton. Get rid of Woody and bring in Phil Jackson no matter what the cost. Make sure that before we sing top players that they must be 100% healthy. There also must be some accountability by all of the players of the night party life in New York. Melo needs to have the pressure taken off of him. He had better but not great teams in Denver. We can fuss pro and con all night long but we all must accept one thing. Melo is here for the long haul.

Agree with everything. Felton is not a playmaker. His strength is going to the hoop off of a PnR and pulling up for the jumper off of the said PnR.

Not just that, but what trade tokens do we have left? We already got all the aged players (remember, everyone except Shumpert is 27+), lots of injuries, Amar'e is going nowhere but eating up the cap space and we only got 1 pick this year, and next year a second round pick, and screwed when Cavaliers swamp our pick.. By 2017, we're gonna have to blow up the whole thing and start over, and we don't have Donnie Walsh to do that trick again. Jimmy Dol signed all those contracts and trades on 'get championship in 2012, 2013 and we'll worry about the disasterous 4 more years afterwards'. Well, guess what, disaster might come earlier than he thinks with all the aging players and injuries. We have only 1 young players and we'll have to deal with slim pickings on draft picks. Like I said from the start, as long as Jimmy Dol is the owner, we have almost no chance (maybe luck come our way again like we got Tyson Chandler or another Linsanity). That's a Knicks fan's life now, get used to drinking down to last drop at the sports bars.

That's not to mention Melo might throw a fit like back in Denver, and then what? Jimmy Dol Jimmy Dol Jimmy Dol needs a new brain, Oz.

Knicks have been struggling for more than 2 months. The main reason why we have stayed in the top 3 was because of our great start

And the terrible state of the Eastern Conference.
Hate to bring this, but Denver is 7 wins ahead of the Knicks in the win column while being only 4th in the West.

Yup, Melo should be able to win playing 1 on 5 with a decimated roster.

What does Denver have to do with the Knicks?

Denver's future is WAAAAAY brighter than the Knicks right now! They don't need to blow it up, they sent the time bomb to NY.

Yeah I mean Denver is over the cap for the next 2 seasons and we have more cap space come year 3.

Knicks just need to manage their cap situation for the next 2 years. No more sign and trades for teams over the cap.

Hopefully we target Lamarcus Aldridge, Marc Gasol, Kevin Love, and Deandre Jordan summer 2015.

Targeting any of those players effectively means that we aren't bringing back any of our free agents that year except maybe Tyson. Also, Jordan's not that good and is going to be expecting another big payday so no thank you.

Rondo will be a free agent as well.

The point is the Knicks have options.

well carmelo doesn't agree with that....

“By far,’’ Anthony said Thursday night in London when asked whether this is his strongest team. “I have been on good teams before. But as far as being a complete team from top to bottom, this is the best team I’ve been a part of.’’

Knicks could actually rebuild this summer if they wanted to.

Go small ball. Trade Chandler for 2 solid pieces.
