All over local Ny radio, internet & Tv call in shows many Loyal knicks fans

Feel sincerely if NYK GET few wins/series in nba playoffs Or get chance to play champs(chumps) HEAT

Knicks can win that series over Miami ..with this 2012/13 Knick roster edition March 6 2013 Wednesday.

I LOVE MY/OUR KNICKS IMMENSELY.. as many true blue fans & yearn 1 day for nba title but
Help me get it, how in the bo diddley do any honest fan think NY is better to BEST Miami in any 4 of 7 playoff games right now.

One thing I heard which nearly let me cry with humor is a fan seriously called ESPN & argued the question today if
They were starting a team And you had to pick between SG'S D-Wade miami and JR Smith ny the caller argued with
ESPN he would take JR Smith over the older Dwayne Wade, serious arguement to the extent ESPN hung up on the Knick fan!


Are these Knicks fans this crazy? Arrogant ? Or am I missing something here with Knicks being able to beat HEAT
& Lebron as currently built right now.

I love NYK & they will have their day & title 1 day BUT cannot believe what our local fan bases predicting

Help me understand cause I don't get it !

So you'd rather fans spent the entire season screaming and crying about the futility of their teams mission?

It's the fun of rooting for the underdog, and having hope that something good will happen against the odds. Upsets are an important and fun part of sports- without them what would be the point in watching if the best team won every time they were suppose to?

What's the point in saying "Miami are the best team, the Knicks will never beat them, this year is a waste of time"?

I think Miami will win the next 3 rings since lebron is in his prime. but with that said, theyre one bad D.Wade knee away from being average. I DO think the pacers or knicks can SCARE the heat but youre right, i DONT think theyre better in a 7 game series
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Knicks can beat anyone. I think they have shown that no?

I would not be suprised at all if we are playing the Heat in game 7 in the ECF. I would be just as unsuprised if we lost in the first round because JEnnings and Ellis combine to drop 60 a night on us because we cant defend anyone these days.

Knicks are really dysfunctional right now. They have tuned out yet another coach, the style of play changes every week and we are all over the place.

i was thinking the same thing on my way to work today: woodson seems incapable of harnessing the talent and molding the team into a cohesive entity. maybe it's the motley skillsets that are too hard to puzzle together but he is definitely falling short there. that and where the hell is the defense?

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Yeah, 2 out of 3 so far with two blowouts, with one game playing without the newest Knick antichrist.
One loss by 6 points.
Staying above .600 the whole season.
Stat's just coming back to himself. Disinterested media the likes of Fatcessa even say things to Grunny now like "... why by golly that Amare guy looks like he's got really active legs again, huh?"
Shump's not anywhere near himself yet, but why look forward to any positive possibilities there in the coming months?

Anything can happen. Knicks are unlikely to beat the Heat in a 7-game series, but this is sports and the Knicks are a good team so there is a chance. You prepare and hope all things fall in place.

I hear ya Smackdog & u cite valid points of course root for our Underdog Knicks

However in the moment steps in the process is my point & of course u ain't going to say 'We can't beat Heat'

That process.should solely be Knicks chat & priority ONLY to win their nba east division & its foes

You drink the knix-coolaide & Ny talks way too much on playing the Heat & focus on Heat and all to do with miami
You think miami doesn't read this crap ? From players & now coach Mike Woodson?

You need your/our team to focus on what's involve before them & only concern with topping Nets,
Celts, Sixers(done) for its division crown which these eager knicks rarely bellow on, even Melo wants all

Your/our teams need to get priorities set is why all these issues in consistent winning in jan, feb

It's very easy to see why the knicks can beat the heat in the playoffs, make them play defense on the perimeter and in the paint.

They can only defend one at a time, we gave them the last game in NY because the wrong guy (J.R) was being the distributor and because he made the careless cross court pass, it made Lebron look like a awesome defender when all he did was intercept a telegraphed pass .


And Woody had a brain fart by under-utilizing Amare in the low post at the end of the game. Before then when the ball was moving Miami had no answer for our inside outside game. Also Shumpert plays Wade better than any knick and usually strips him at least once per game but he was on the bench !

I have no idea what games people are watching , but it's clear to me when the knicks play the right way , Miami has a hard time adjusting

Previous two games against the heat and the half of the last game we moved the ball an entire game and we beat them by 20 points, and we had them by 16 in the last game.

Knicks can beat anyone, even themselves. They will stop beating themselves and start beating teams in the playoffs, hopefully.

If Lebron is truly great they should still be able to contend without Wade.

Why not? 2 blow out's by 20 and a 6 point loss with JR crapping the bed. We match up well with the Heat and we can beat them in a series. Picture a healthy Camby being able to back up Tyson and KMART giving us some quality defense and minutes off the bench. Yeah the Heat have won 16 straight but look at their schedule! The only impressive wins were against OKC and Memphis. Yeah, they beat the Clippers but that was also CP3's first game back from his injury.

I give them props for the streak but they're doing what teams of their caliber should be doing which is beat the teams you should beat on paper. At the end of the day the playoffs are a new seaon. Racking up wins against subpar opponents doesn't matter. We beat them by 20+ twice (once without Melo) and lost a game we should have won by 6 freaking points. We're not worried about the Heat....they're worried about us.
